The smell is incredible

Moisturizing but a bit greasy and not my fav scent

L'Occitane's Artichoke Body Cream is a medium consistency, luxury cream that claims to reduce cellulite and redefine skin texture, so I put it to the test. First off, this packaging looks like something you'd get at a high-end store in France - the container is made of thick glass with beautiful raised lettering and a green/gold metal lid. Texture-wise, the cream is both rich and absorbent. It glides onto the skin smoothly, sinking in almost immediately. I will say that it leaves a bit of a shiny, greasy, slightly sticky residue, which I don't mind on my body, but I don't really love using it on my hands.

The key ingredient in this cream is artichoke leaf extract. Some benefits include: reduction in acne, eczema, rosacea, dry skin, wrinkles and fine lines. It can also improve skin tone and elasticity. It contains some emollients (shea and sunflower seed oil) and antioxidants (caffeine, vit E) as well. I analyzed the entire ingredients list in detail and I was surprised by how few "beneficial" and "stand-out" ingredients it contained. On top of that, there were some not-so-great perfuming ingredients (fragrance, eugenol, menthol), which can be allergenic and bad for sensitive skin.

The scent is fresh and botanical, which I liked at first, but after wearing it for some time, I found that it almost started to seem a bit intense and harsh, and reminded me of something I might find at the Body Shop. It sort of lacked that "high-end" smell that I'd expect from a product like this.

Overall, this cream is incredibly hydrating and I love using it at night after I shower. My skin is instantly moisturized and I have noticed a bit of a reduction in the stretchmarks and cellulite on my thighs, so I will happily keep using it!I received this product for free for my honest review.

Hydration, Non sticky and Quick Absorption

My thoughts:
First thought, "I totally need this!!!".

The cream is nice and smooth with a lovely intoxicating scent! My body skin basically ate it all up! I applied the cream as directed and massaged it into my skin. It was immediately absorbed and left my skin feeling so smooth and hydrated! I couldn't feel the cream on my skin like I can with other creams, which was really nice. It didn't leave any residue or greasiness behind.

The box had all the information I needed and the instructions were very easy to follow. Sometimes you forget that by applying a product in a certain way or order, it can increase its benefits!

I have been using the cream and massaging it into my skin as directed for 10 days now and I can tell that my skin is looking much improved! I can't wait to see what my skin will look like with continued application!

I really liked that the product came in a glass jar. It made it easy to apply and I can reuse the jar afterwards or recycle it.

Overall, I really enjoyed this cream and highly recommend it! 🤍

Its the Tingle

This was a lovely thick cream that it refreshing and relaxing .. The smell is nothing to strong or overpowering .. this absorbs nicely into the skin and the delightful treat ... the Minty cooling feeling you get is very soothing .. I love that the box comes with instructions for a massage

Earthy scent

Smells like earth and grass but not in a bad way. Thicker cream but feels soft and non greasy. Absorbs well and doesnt leave any stickiness. Bit expensive for me.

Amazing Massage Cream

After a week of trying the L'Occitane massage cream, my skin looks more hydrated and smoother.
What I like most about this cream is that the packaging explains how to make the draining massages easily and efficiently to get the most benefits possible.
The cream is full of nutrients, with artichoke from the South of France being the main ingredient.
Additionally, I must admit that the scent is delicious and very long lasting, it has even stayed on my pajamas after applying the cream and massaging before going to sleep.
I am happy with the results and will continue to use the cream to improve the texture of my skin, especially on my legs and arms.
