Not for oily combination skin

As much as I love love love the L'Occitane Shea Butter hand cream, the light comforting cream was a disappointment. I have tried a sample and at first I really liked it, it was very light, felt moisturizing and smelled just like shea butter. I proceeded to get the full size bottle and tried it in the summer. I have oily combination skin (oily on the T zone) and I can definitely feel my skin doesn't absorb the cream at all. It just sticks on my skin and leaves a residue.

Perhaps this cream is better for people with dry skin. I will give it a try again in the Winter hence leaving it as 3 star.

Great

This is great for the winter months when my skin is a bit dryer and starts to flake. It smells lightly of shea butter and like their hand creams, it really helps to moisturize my face skin.

Great for Winter

My skin is often a bit dryer in the winter months so I like using this from time to time. Sometimes I use it as my nightly moisturizer and wake up to some super smooth skin.

J’ai adoré la légèreté de la crème! J’ai la peau du visage sèche en hiver et celle-ci fut mon alliée pour les temps froids. Elle hydrate bien et ne laisse pas de fini gras.

Love but pricey

I love this cream. I went into the occitane store for hand lotion and discovered this little gem. At the time I was having breakouts and asked the sales associate about moisturizers. She gave me great information about my oily skin and suggested the Shea light comforting cream. Since using it, I’m happy to say that I don’t have breakouts (knock on wood), my skin feels great and my skin isn’t as oily as it used to be.

Ive reached this product as part of a promotion that was given out by l'occitane. Ive enjoyed using the product very much and my skin loves it too. Will considering purchasing

This is the winter cream that I use. It's nice and light but very moisturizing. Perfect on its own or as a base under makeup. I have bought this from both Sephora and the L'Occitane stand alone shop.

This cream lives up to its name. The texture is light, but not too light that it feels watered down, and provides long lasting moisture. The scent is a classic moisturizer scent, reminds me of something I used years ago.. maybe the classic Nivea cream? In terms of the moisturizing level, I find it comparable to Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer, as well as the price. I would consider purchasing this again, though it's not a must have since I find Kiehl's currently meets my needs (and is unscented).

Very good cream for the summer months. Very light ,absorbs quickly, non greasy and did not make my face break - out, which is a bonus. I thought the Shea Butter would leave a greasy feeling to my face but it did not. No SPF.
