My fiance bought this mouse for me a while ago... I didn't really care about wireless mouse at the time but seriously, wow! I love it, it works really well! (and it's cute!)

I purchased this Logitech Mouse a couple of years ago and it is definitively worthy of a review. This is a wireless laser mouse with tracking wheel that allows you to scroll up and down and side to side, or used to zoom in and out. It may not have any extra bells and whistles as far as additional buttons, but it makes up for it with durability. I have concrete floors at my place of work and have dropped this puppy over 100 times and it has never affected performance. To add to the abuse that this poor thing has endured, my Siamese cat pushed it off of the counter and attempted to drown in in his water bowl, I was sure that it had finally met its demise, but to my amazement, after letting it dry out overnight, it worked like new by the next day. Following this incident, I also spilled an entire cup of coffee over it with no effect whatsoever! On top of having the ability to resurrect over and over, the battery life is incredible. It takes 2 X AA's that will last a minimum of a year before having to change them. It is accessorized with a "unifying" receiver that you simply pop into one of your USB ports. The receiver is so tiny that you won't even notice that it's there. Although, I should add, I use this mouse with a Laptop and I had an unfortunate incident when I was transporting it in a laptop backpack that slides the laptop in sideways, without noticing I slid it in with the receiver facing down which caused the USB receiver to get forced into the port causing malfunction of all the USB ports in the vicinity.
