One of the best books I have ever read. I truly love it and have read it about 10 times! It has the perfect ending and begin and you will love the romance within it!

J'ai lu ce roman il y a quelques années et j'ai adorée. Un roman romantique très touchant. Ce serait bien qu'un film se produise sur ce roman.

Je ne l'ai paa encore acheté, mais c'est dans mes plans.

I'm in love with this book, definitely one of my favorites! It's full of interesting and unique characters, and deals with really serious themes such as depression and suicide. I will never understand this book fully, as it's so theme dense and is full of open ends.

I was introduced to the author John Green a few years ago and this is the first book of his that I read. I literally could not put it down, and ended up reading it from start to finish in two days. I don't want to give away too much away because there's a great plot twist in there. But what I love most about it is that even though it starts out as a love story its really about finding yourself and getting to know who you are. Great for teenagers but also adults.

This is the second book that I've read by John Green. It's a good young adult book.

So I have been hearing a lot about John Green and how awesome he is, but honestly, I wasn’t impressed. I really had to push myself to get into this book and to finish it. I couldn’t connect with the characters or the story. Well, if you could even call that a story. I wasn’t really sure what the point of the book was.
Basically I found the boys to be big pansies who were controlled by a bitchy teenage girl. Alaska was a “party” girl who thought she was Queen Shit and I guess everyone else did too. She didn’t really think of the consequences to her actions, and in the end it was her undoing.
For my sake, I hope John Green’s others books are better because I have a few of them. I would still recommend this book to others just because I don’t want my opinion to affect whether they read it or not.

Looking for Alaska is an amazing book. This will grab many readers by attention and bring love and pathos to the main character. This book is about a male who moves down to a boarding school to find adventure, due to the absence of fun, and friends he has at home. He meets friends, and this girl Alaska who he falls in love with. Eventually, something dramatic happens to Alaska and it effects everybody who knows her. John Green uses beautiful words, and has the knowledge of having people fall in love with it. I definitely recommend people reading this book. This will grab and bring attention to many hopeful lovers out there, espiecially teenagers.
