Bought on a whim
Dealing with the winter face blues, I tend to get dry nose from all the Kleenex use, and dryness where my unibrow would be (if I had one). So I set off to my local drug store in search of a new face wash that didn’t strip my skin of moisture.
As I was browsing the cleansers, I noticed this super tall, thin, pump bottle in a visually pleasing pink tone. It spoke to me like a gentle sea breeze would.
I decided to pick the bottle up and proceeded to read it was a cleansing milk. I had never really noticed cleansing milks prior to this. It advised it cleanses, removes makeup and nourishes! With roses and jasmine?!? How interesting!
It also advised it was for dry and sensitive skin. Did it read my current state of face? It also was a steal at under $9 so I purchased and brought this pink bundle of excitement home.
Later that evening, I used a face wipe to wash off my minimal makeup I’d worn that day, and suddenly remembered my new prized possession. I then read the instructions, pumped some on a cotton ball and slathered this creamy lightly scented rose jasmine juice on my face.
I was surprised at how quickly it absorbed into my skin as well as no instructions to wash it off. I checked out the cotton pad after swiping it all over and was surprised by the extra dirt it found. It slightly tingles like an astringent, and my face felt softer and smoother.
I am several days in, and feel my skin has improved in having fewer dry spots, and less redness. It’s definitely less dry all over, and it seems to be working for my combination skin.
For this price point, it’s worth giving it a go!
