No improvement and wasn't comfortable to use

I didn’t like the results of this eye treatment, or how it felt during use, so I have to conclude that it’s just not right for me. I used it for less than 8 weeks, but it says that immediately you should see ‘Skin Feels Smoother, More Supple. Eye Area Feels More Comfortable. Skin Feels Hydrated With Reduced Dryness.’ and after twice a day use, for a week and a half, I didn’t see any of these results. I always take photos to compare and I have to say that in the photos my under-eye area looks almost worse, oily and the fine lines are more noticeable, so I’m not thrilled with that result.

Granted, I am not 100 percent the target market. I have aging skin that needs some care (I’m in my 30’s), but my skin is not extremely dry, its combination. So perhaps it works wonderfully on super dry mature skin, but for those with combination skin I can’t recommend it and would recommend the L’oreal Revitalift Cica eye cream instead, which I love!

I also didn’t enjoy the application process. While initially I was intrigued by the idea of the eye rollers, I didn’t enjoy the consistency of the product. It’s like a sticky, honey gel and feels really tacky after you apply it. Also when I first opened it, I pulled out what I thought was a string of dried honey from inside the bottle, but actually turned out to be a piece of plastic (printing/manufacturing overfill from the wand, is my guess). That really made me worry about the quality.

The wand also didn’t apply the best. While I liked that the balls ‘rotated’ all the way round and it felt kind of fun (but a bit ticklish), whatever eye you did first always had a ton of fluid on it and the other had the right amount. This meant that when you ‘tap excess to absorb it’ (use your finger gently to avoid stretching the undereye area) it takes forever to absorb and just has way too much gel on it. Even if you scrape the wand off before use, there’s always a lot of excess. It also wasn’t clear whether to use the wand horizontally or vertically, I tried both but found vertical more comfortable (see picture). It’d be nice if they gave a pictoral instruction to help you along.

Overall, it just wasn’t right for me. I didn’t see any improvement in my eye area, thought it made my skin there more oily and didn’t particularly enjoy the process of applying it. I’d recommend other Loreal products over this one.
