Loreal Elnett Salon Hairspray was an awesome price actually it was free to try (coupon.) I like this hairspray and I think it does the job okay! I actually like the way it sprays, It is a really even spray. There are a few complaints that I have with it though! It does not hold very well even though it says strong holding, my bangs always feel all over the place when I use it! Second it makes my hair feel greasy which I cannot stand! Third it normally is really expensive so I all in all I think there are better and cheaper brands out there that are a lot better!

Not long ago I have received a sample of Elnett. I must admit I am not a fan of L'oreal, but the hairspray proved to be great. Several weeks later I got a coupon and purchased a full sized product. It was a bargain. Believe me! The hairspray is fantastic. The hair looks and feels great. Moreover, the smell is so perfect that sometimes I avoid using perfume. I chose extra strong hold and was erally contented.
If you are looking for alternatives to your current hairspray, choose Elnett!

Okay, so I'm going to be honest here. The only reason I tried this product is becasue I received a free sample in the mail. After trying it I knew it wasn't the hairspray for me. The price is outrageous, and there are other products out there that work just as well that you can buy for a fraction of the cost. Moving on to the smell. I don't know if it is a smell that was intentionally put in the bottle or if it is just the bad after effect of the chemicals that were used to make the product but it absolutely stinks. The day I used it I was running my errands and could not for the life of me figure out why this stink was following me around until I realized it was me! So the long and the short, don't waste your money, take your business elsewhere!

This hairspray holds just fine but it smells absoulutely disgusting. I was hoping it would just smell when i sprayed it but over 9 hours later i could still smell it and it grossed me out so much i had to rewash my hair. Only used it the one time definatly not something i'd recommend if you are sensitive to smell!

I love this product, its a fine mist that doesn't make my hair feel like straw and doesn't break my bank either.The only downside? The smell is a bit perfumey at first but it dries to a nice soft clean/floral-y smell.
The upside? It comes in an unscented version.

I don't wear very much hair product in general, only on special occasions, or when I get dressed up. My current job and lifestyle requires for a very casual and natural look. Anyways, I was lucky to get this product to review and used it on a few nights out over the past few weeks. I gotta tell you; for someone who rarely wears hairspray, I loved this one! It is not sticky, it is not heavy (doesn't weigh the hair down, actually, it adds volume!), it does not tangle my long locks as most hairsprays have in the past. It still allows movement, and leaves the hair touchable (not straw like). I think it is actually the best hairspray I've tried. Also, it does have some nice lasting power. The scent is not overwhelming but could bother some who are very sensitive. I would overall, recommend this product!

I originally bought this for my wedding, because I wanted a spray that would hold my updo in place without flaking, getting sticky, etc.

It is pretty expensive for a drugstore hairspray -- I bought it at Wal Mart for $14.99 (at the time, it included a free travel size as a bonus) -- but it's absolutely worth it. It's a true ultrafine aerosol mist, and while it offers strong hold, it still leaves my hair combable, never clumpy or sticky. Also, I've had problems with most aerosol hairsprays building up and blocking the nozzle, or the aerosol mechanism failing altogether, but haven't had any problems with this with Elnett.

Most importantly, it holds up to heat and humidity very well. It was 88 degrees on my wedding day and very humid, with a chance of rain, and the ceremony was held outside. It held my updo perfectly in place for 10 hours, through the ceremony, pictures, a four-hour reception, and afterparty; I had no frizziness or flyaways, which tend to be a problem for me because I have fine hair.

I still use this product regularly; if it were a little cheaper, I would use it every day. It's by far the best hairspray I've ever used.

I have curly hair that I straighten with a blow dryer and a round brush. Since I live in a desert climate, I have no problem keeping it straight and smooth. However, as soon as I step off the plane in a city with even the slightest humidity I look like Roseanne Roseannadanna from the 70's SNL skits. Until now...Ladies, I have found a secret weapon- Loreal Elnett.

I know there are a million anti-humidity shampoos, sprays, and serums, but they always put a weird coating on my hair that leaves my locks limp and dirty feeling. Now, I blow dry my hair normally, mist my hair with Elnett and I can dine al fresco in New Orleans in August. The best part is that it doesn't feel like I have any product in my hair! I can brush it and it still retains its style. I won't travel without this product! Luckily, they sell a 2.2 oz travel size that's airport friendly.

This product used to only be sold in Europe and celebrities would stock up when they traveled or have it shipped to the states. The demand was so high for this hairspray that they finally started selling it in the U.S. I used to read about it in fashion mags and now I understand the hype.

L'Oreal Elnett Satin hairspray has the finest hairspray mist I've ever tried so it's perfect for everyday use especially to hold down flyaways. Because it's so fine, you don't have to worry about overspraying and caushing your hair to weigh down or clump/harden up. Elnett is also buildable so if you're looking for lots of volume and hold for more extreme hairstyles, it works great too! The only thing I didn't like was the unpleasant scent. I found that when the hairspray interacted with heat (blow dryer, hair straightener) it was only more offensive but it did fade after a few hours. Overall I would recommend this hairspray to anyone because it is so versatile.

Seen Elnett in various magazines in the past and was excited to see it being carried at the Shopper's Drug Mart. My initial reaction to the hairspray was that it had a very strong distinct smell, unlike that of other drugstore brands. The hairspray itself didn't perform as I expected, the amount of hold it provided was somewhat lacking and required massive amounts to hold up any volume. However this may be due to the fair that I bought the version for normal hair and not the extra strength, perhaps that would have made the difference.

In the end, I would not recommend this product as cheaper products outperform it.
