This product works for those that didn't have time to color their hair and needs to have the roots covered temporarily. It works because it actually covers my new greys that are coming out but the problem is that it covered my scalp as well. I sprayed it about 15cms away as per instructions but it still managed to stain it. I tried cleaning it but it became a bit messy, it was not that easy to remove. I did it very carefully because i didn't want to remove the spray from my hair, just thr scalp. In the end was ok, that's why i think product works but you need to be patient. This product is a spray on colour which blends with your hair to cover root regrowth. It is easy to apply and sells for a reasonable price. It also washes out with one shampoo quite easily and makes this an ideal product for someone who washes their hair less frequently. The only reason I could only give three stars is that the product was much too dark for my shade of blonde. My roots are darker than my hair and this spray just added to the darker shade, so if you are a lighter blonde or roots are darker than your hair you may want to try a different colour. I was provided this product complimentary for testing however receiving a product as a sample does not affect my review and all opinions are my own.

Although I don't have root growth, I do have natural greys. I tried the product on my Gray hairs, applying it more like a dry shampoo/spot cover up than a root cover up.

It didn't work on my Gray's at all. It's a very pigmented, chalky spray, so I'm sure if you're using it only at the root of your hair it would be more effective.

I will say it is very chalky and came off on my fingertips quite easily, so I'm not too sure about its staying powder.

Based on my experience with Gray coverage (it didn't work at all) I'd say this is more for colour difference root growth, as opposed to Gray growth.

I tried the red and it completely blended with the rest of my hair colour. It comes in a variety of shades to blend with any hair colour. There's enough in the bottle for several applications, or you could colour all of your hair quickly and simply for a temporary boost!

This is like a dry shampoo in texture but it is actually colored to cover grey. It is brand new but so far I love it. It would also work well for thinning hair.
