Hard to wash off, and expensive!

I am a huge fan of the charcoal face masks as they seem to make my skin softer than any other face masks. I also prefer the liquid masks to the sheets as they're normally easier and less painful to remove. HOWEVER.. this is not the case with this mask. Because of the amount of products used my skin was very irritated during use creating a burning sensation, which I toughed through, but only to find it was extremely difficult to remove. I rinsed my face for several minutes although I still had excessive residue remaining afterwards whereas I had to use a wet washcloth and face towel to finish scrubbing off. I did like the final feeling of my skin though. When I finished my full size sample, I went to re-purchase and found these are extremely expensive!!! I'm still in a tug of war as to whether I wish to re-purchase based on the issues I had with it.
