I think that this mascara was ok. It separated my lashes, but it was also kind of clumpy. This also takes longer to use than other mascaras, as you have to coat multiple sections as opposed to all lashes at once. The brush gives you more control of where to put mascara, and so it is good for the bottom lashes, but there is a learning curve associated with using this mascara.
I HATED this mascara when i first bought it, it made my lashes much too long for my liking, although it never did clump. I avoided using it for a while but when i ran out of another i was forced to try this one again, and was pleasantly surprised. It thickened up a bit after being opened. And i LOVE the brush, makes it easy to get every lash.
I grabbed this from a clearance bin ( I love trying mascaras, so it was pretty much calling my name) and was happy with it the first couple times I used it.
BUT... the love did not last. A week or so after opening it, I used it again (usually mascaras get better after they've been opened and sat a bit) but this made my lashes clump together in the most unflattering black wad. It made it look like I had five giant lashes. They were long, mind you, but not the cutest look. I give this one a pass.
The brush works really well at getting into hard to reach places, but the formula isn't great. It will clump and if it doesn't, it doesn't make your lashes really look any different, only darker.
The L'Oreal Telescopic line are products that I actually really love. I am probably their number one customer when it comes to their liquid eyeliner because I've gone through so many tubes of it. So, when I heard about their new Telescopic Explosion The concept was pretty simple. A smaller, sphere shaped brush would be perfect for those inner lashes you can't reach very well with the average mascara wand. The first couple uses were phenomenal! I thought I had found my new holy grail mascara. However, I found that on days where I do not have much time to get ready, like for school, this mascara is way too time consuming. It does do what it is supposed to however, I just don't think it's very practical. It honestly takes me twice as long to do my eye make up using this mascara than it usually does with other "normal" mascara wands. I would say that this product is good, and the concept is good as well. But, it just isn't for people who don't want to spend an hour doing their make up.
I bought this off of Ebay and was hoping that it would work. It did partially work, I got each individual lasg, but made them really clumpy. I only used one coat. I do like the wand, but not the formula. The wand is great because the brush is small and can get in the smallest areas. The length of the wand could be shortened, but thay's not important. The formula makes my lashes look bigger than the other lashes which looks abnormal. I would not spend $12 on this product.
For what it advertises, this mascara does it job. The mascara separates my lashes, and evenly coats it all, and I can easily get the hard to reach places. That being said, I don't think my lashes appeared any fuller, or more voluminous. In fact, it just looked slightly thicker, but not in any way that's flattering for my eyes.
I would recommend this as an overcoat after regular mascara, just to separate the lashes and make the appearance of them more natural, but not on its own.
Not really feelin this one. I thought because of the small round brush it would enhance my short eyelashes...I was wrong. It didn't do anything different then my current mascara. I think the brush should be bristles instead of silicone or whatever it's made of.
First of all the brush is TOO LONG for that precise of an application!
It does lengthen the lashes and does separate. But it leaves them looking thin and dry
A bit hard to work with and I have poked my self in the eye. I would not use this brush over traitional mascara brush.
I bought mine at Costco in Vancouver and it turned out to be about $15 each (for a pack of 2). I don't think it's worth it. The telescopic brush does do a good job at separating lashes, even the end lashes. However, the coverage is so bare - it doesn't give the impression of fuller lashes. That's with the first coat though (and with other mascaras I've tried, 1 coat is usually enough), so I tried a 2nd coat and that's where it starts to clump a little. Very frustrating to work with, especially because the wand is so flimsy, and long (which makes it harder to hold).
