I’m rating this high even though personally I would never use it again.
When I began using this mineral foundation, I was blown away by how well it covered any and all imperfections.
It created a flawless complexion without looking cakey.
I loved that the applicator was attached! This meant I didn’t need to pick up an additional brush, plus it made the bottle very easy to travel with.
I recommended this immediately to many of my friends.
Unfortunately within weeks, my skin began to break out.
At first I didn’t connect it to the makeup but then it just kept getting worse.
My skin never cleared up until I stopped using this product. Unfortunately, I have combination acne-prone skin and I wasn’t a good candidate for this product. Even though it looked great on, it wasn’t worth the blemishes.
I recommend this to anyone who has clear skin as I’m sure they’d love it. But not for us oily/combination skinned ladies!
I really found this stuff worked well, i dont have a lot of flaws to cover up, just needed something to even out the color in my face, and this did it! easy to use and fast! i have the whole line, not just the foundation and have been using it for a while now, i would recommend it!
This foundation is one of my all time favorites, It goes on nicely speading nice and gives a light weight feel. It stop the oil from my skin from showing, and it lasts all day long, It does not clumb and the colour matching properly with my line giving me no colour lines.
Foundation is the grail quest for me. What I rate for in foundation is coverage, comfort of wear, oil-resistance (does it change colours or show shine easily), and it should have sunblock, non-comedeogenic and oil-free status. This one was easy to apply, had an SPF of 19 and was light (being a powder). I didn't love the brush, the messy application (powder from the underside of the brush goes everywhere), and the cakey look I got when I wanted to apply a bit more on a blemish or birthmark I wanted to cover. Coverage was okay. It did last a long time and its compact to travel with. What it would be great for is vacation when you just want to brush on a bit of coverage and even out your skin tone.
The brush is too stiff, the product is very dry and being a lose powder, will naturally fall onto your clothes and stain white shirts. All in all I don't recommend this product at all. I notice nowadays "average" price of a drugstore foundation is about $15. Well, add a few more $$ to it and you can get an awesome foundation that you can wear for months on end from Sephora. I would recommend saving your money and investing in a good product, rather than spending several $11 dollars on so-so products.
I had a love-hate relationship with this foundation. I like the coverage it provided, but if my face was the slightest bit dry, it would accentuate it. It had an attached brush that I found a little too stiff. There wasn't much of a selection of shades, which made choosing a shade without trying it first really tough. For the amount of product in the container, the price was a little high compared to buying other drugstore foundations. It was also quite messy. Brushing it on often led to a fine dust getting on my clothing and the surrounding area. There was a mild odor that I did not like, but it wasn't much of a problem.
It was quick and easy to apply though, and it made my face feel soft and smooth. I was left with a light-medium matte coverage.
If the price was lower, I would definitely recommend this foundation.
I hated this foundation. I found it didn't cover any of my imperfections and was way too overpriced for the job it did do. I will not be buying this again. The only postive thing I have to say about it, is that it feels awesome when you put it on.
The best foundation I've used so far. I have very dry forehead and cheeks and oily nose and chin with alot of redness from having sensitive skin. This foundation doesn't highlight the dryness like I find liquid foundation ends up doing. And it helps to combat the oil and shine. It does a great job of hiding the redness with a bit of the Bare Naturale concealer and doesn't irritate my skin. Also it is so quick and easy to use a few quick swipes over the skin and it has cut my time in half from when I used to use liquid foundation and powder to set it.
I totally love L'Oreal Bare Naturale Mineral Foundation. Before that I used a pressed powder but now I have switched to mineral make up and love very much L'Oreal mineral foundation. That is so light for my sensitive skin and hides my skin imperfections very gently without any "chalky" and also "dry' feeling. And that also perfectly hides my "T" zone (shiny parts) of the skin. I will definitely recommend that to my friends.
I LIKE THE LIGHT COVERAGE IT GIVES AND THE SPF19 INCLUDED SUNSCREEN AS IT GIVES YOU A NICE EVEN FOUNDATION. WHAT I DON'T LIKE IS THE DELIVERY SYSTEM. DONE BY BRUSH IT IS SO POWDERY IT FALLS OFF THE PROVIDED BRUSH AND GETS ALL OVER YOUR CLOTHES COUNTER AND FLOOR. WASTE OF PRODUCT AND MAKES A MESS.
DOES COME IN DIFFERENT SHADES. NEEDS TO HAVE LESS POWDER ACCESS THE DELIVERY AREA.
