I have color #818 Noursihing Nude. It is a light balm, with a touch of color, very natural. It lasts for a few hours, I usually have to apply after I eat/drink so staying power isn't its strong suit, but if you like wearing a bam, this is the product for you!
Love the really sheer effect. Very light tinting of colour and very moisturizing. Perfect glossiness without stickiness!
I bought this product a week ago and it is really good, the colour lasts and it is extremely hydrating on the lips and moisturizing. it is very pigmented too
My lips are dry and regular lipsticks can be quite drying. This balm is nice and moisturizing but does not have the colour richness of a lipstick. It's good for daytime and work but you'd probably want a regular lipstick for evening or a night out.
I got this at Shoppers Drug Mart but i found the price to be kind of high. But, overall this product is moisturizing and the colours are nice as well!
Really like this product...it moisturizes without adding too much colour. It is easy to apply, and has a nice natural appearance when applied.
I really like this new balm. It’s not flavourless, but also doesn’t overpower anything you are eating or drinking...it is pleasant. I purchased the Pink Satin colour. Although lacking in the Pink department (they should rename it Barely There Pink Satin) they got the Satin part right. This balm is super smooth!! If you are looking for a balm that is just the slightest touch of pink with the look of a gloss; this is your match. I’ll continue to wear this one, but for the evening I’ll bump it up a notch with a darker colour.
Very moisturizing. Glides on nicely. Gives subtle color. The color Tender Mauve is a like a pale light purple tint.
Ohhhh I just LOVED the shade I bought of this wonderful, moisturizing, SPF 15 added lip balm with colour! I have it in 'Caramel Comfort', and its one of the first lip colours I have had in a VERY long time that didn't disappoint me. I found the shine didn't last as long as I would have preferred, but the colour itself stained my lips enough that I didn't have to be paranoid it had all worn off!
818 Nourishing Nude
I saw this in my local drugstore on sale for $6.99 ($11 originally, I think), I hadn't seen it before, so I think it's relatively new.
I own enough lip balms to carpet my carpet, but the classy lipstick-like packaging was the selling point. No testers were open except for the berry colour (a nice fushia, but too blue for me). I settled on nude, thinking it's foolproof, especially at $6. (in photo: far-right)
This balm is wonderful! It feels like a lipstick, that slick, creamy texture, just not as thick. It's not a waxy chapstick, or a goopy, sticky gloss.
The nude pigment is extremely subtle, and was dead-on my colour. I haven't found a nude close to my lip colour, this was a match. It's not shimmery, though it has a bit of a dewy sheen there's no true shine. It feels lovely on and sticks around for a good amount of time. (I did put the berry colour on my wrist, similarly, it went on thin and as a nice tint, would be gorgeous on an olive skintone).
One thing I'll stress is the packaging, it's exactly like a lipstick case not the casual balm tube, which you may or may not like. I assume it a good think: I'll be less likely to misplace it or leave it in a never-worn jacket pocket and lose it if it looks like a nice lipstick.
Other colors I can remember are a ballerina-pink (which I think would be too white on anything but pale lips), berry, a plum, and also a coral.
I debated getting the coral too, but (god knows why) skipped it. It's not a true coral, it's really just a bold pink (there's little orange tone in it), but it wasn't a harsh colour, which I figured was best in a balm. I'm going back to get that one, and maybe the plum if there are testers.
