My hair turned orange

Bought the Smokey Pink box. I followed all the instructions. The chemical odor was terrible, it made my eyes and lungs burn. My hair was already a dyed blonde colour, but hadn't dyed it for 1 year. It turned my hair orange! Do not buy it!

It's okay.

If you have blond hair I'm positive that this product will work for you but I have light brown hair and when I used a blond shade of this product it turned my hair into a light orange-ish brown. so as long as you have time and money to do touch-ups then for the price this brand is great.

Horrible colour

My husband bought this for me (the pink one) as he thought I’d like the colour. I have light blonde hair....now it’s orange. I have been dying my hair funky colours for many many years....haven’t died it in at least a year, so that wasn’t the issue. I do not suggest anybody try this unless maybe they’ve bleached their hair.

Horrible dye

Horrible dye don’t waste your money time or hair on this dye your hair has to be platinum platinum all over blonde for this to work. Bad bad product tried the rose and blue and now realized that both suck won’t be doing that again

I have not used boxed dye in a long time but after months of wanting to dye my hair silver, I thought why not. The blue should allow for a softer silver color so I went ahead and pre-lightened my hair as the box suggested and after applying the dye and waiting the amount of time I rinsed it only to see that my hair was not a smokey color but rather than the silver color advertised my hair turned an awful Vibrant blue! I will never use this again.

The worst hair decision

I am pretty open with trying new things with my hair but this one was a huge fail . It turned my hair an awful yellow. My hair was virgin as I had not died it through my full pregnancy .

I’ve used this product a bunch of times when I was experimenting with hair colors. It always worked and my hair felt great after giving it a good conditioning. I even dyed my hair right away using this so it never damaged my hair at all . I really recommend this brand.

Wickedly good!

Definitely would buy again, it's a fantastic Pastels line that doesn't destroy your hair (IF you follow the instructions and don't go over the timings, like any other permanent colour line). Long-lasting pastel colour, great colour and not-so damaging dye!

The Loveliest Hair Colour Shade I Have Ever Used

L'Oreal Feria Smokey Pastels give you amazing hair colour without having to go to a salon. They come in shades of Smokey Pink, Smokey Blue, and Smokey Lavender. I love the lavender, so that is the shade that I have been using. I have gotten many compliments on the colour, and it is so easy to use right in the comfort of your own home. DO NOT believe the package that says it is not for use on grey hair. I am completely grey, and the colour is quite vibrant without being too "in your face".

Unless you want Blue hair not reccomended

I was in a pinch and thought hey perhaps I will use this box dye to get me through.
NEVER USE BOX DYE is what I should of said but I was impatient.

I had a more ashy lavender silver hair tone with about 2 inches of regrowth. Wanting to get my headshots retaken I had lifted my roots but had no more of my colour left and thought:

"Hey this Smoky blue could do the trick in a pinch, its silver, and the blue tones should help cancel any brassiness of my lifted roots"

It skipped right over the smoky part and went right for BLUE! my hair was Blue folks!! Periwinkle blue!

To its advantage it faded relatively quick with constant washing and the use of baking soda and baby shampoo but its still patchy and awful!

I've not yet tried to correct it for fear of melting my hair off as I have read in some others reviews so fingers crossed I have hair when that happens.. also no new headshots for me, not with this hair at least.
