I bought this shadow in a silver and black duo to use for a show choir competition. I piled it on thick (as stage makeup should be), but I was watching some makeup tutorials and noticed a lot of the beauty gurus using what they called "shimmery eyeshadow base" (MAC paint pot). I saw how it looked on their eyelids and thought to try this eyeshadow. I applied it very lightly all over my eye and discovered that my $7 eyeshadow looked just like the MAC makeup! I use it all the time now--for going out at night, school dances, even just to spice up an everyday outfit for school. I got more than my money's worth out of this product.
