100% OF CHICKS DIG IT
I found this product in the clearance bin for $2 so decided to try it and I loved it! It had such a nice colour, without the drying effect of lipstick. It has just the right amount of shine and wasn't sticky. My only complaint is the packaging, a tube or stick would be more appealing to me
I love this tinted lip balm! I love that it has a subtle tint, but is also very moisturizing. I have the omes on Savory and Luscious and the lucious one is my faVorite because it shows up on my lips better, but not too much. The Savory one isn't really tinted. In the jar it looks like a hot pink color, but doesn't show up on me (My lips are really red). I love both because they leave my lips softer even after it wears off, and they aren't flavored.
I hadn't tried any jelly glosses before this one, but I must say that I do really like it. It has more colour than I expected, which is great. The actual texture of the jelly isn't quite as jelly like as I thought, but it feels great on the lips.
I agree with the other reviewer who mentioned that the pot packaging for this product isn't really the best match. I think that it might be easier if it was packaged in a squeeze tube.
I have all six shades of the jelly balms and love them all! I absolutely can't say enough about these high pigmented ip balms. I have a lot of balms, but nothing compares to this one. They have quite a bit of color and the best part is that they stay on! Seriously you can eat and drink and it still stays! Some lip golsses/balms can actually make lips dry causing them to peel but you won't have that problem with this product, my lips have never looked better. They seem fuller even though the product makes no claims about this. I would recommended that every woman have this in your makeup bag. You can buy them at any Walgreens or CVS for under $10.00.
What it is: Lip balm with a burst of but sheer color.
Where to get it: Anywhere L'Oreal H.I.P. products are sold.
How much: About $7 for 4.5 Grams
What I like about it: This goes on very smooth and left my lips really soft. A little product goes a long way, despite its "jelly" name. Actually, it's not very jelly-like at all, feels a bit like any other balm but a touch softer. The color payoff is just right, too. The one I got is a grape color, and it really shows. But since it's sheer it kinda mixes with my natural lip color so it doesn't look outrageous.
What could be improved: I've always had lip balms in a stick form or tube so I thought I was ready for a change by going with this little pot. I was wrong, I think it's kinda disgusting always sticking your finger into the pot then applying product on your lips. So being as finicky as I am, I use a lip brush with this. If somehow they figured out how to repackage this product into a stick or a tube and still kept the consistency, then it would be like, the most perfect thing ever LoL.
Overall: Regardless of how much I don't like the packaging, I'd still buy it again when I run out. The product itself is just THAT good, in my opinion.
