This is the only lipstick I have every tried (I've pretty much tried them all) that actually stays on! You put on the gloss, wait a minute until it dries, then put on the top coat, which is clear. Give it another minute, then you can drink, eat, etc & the color stays on. Will be there the next morning also!

I was very skeptical about the long wearing lipstick and most that I tried were sticky, drying and just a mess. But this one is perfect, looks great, lasted through breakfast, lunch, dinner, and more water drinks that I could have ever imagined. I was so thrilled!

I have never been a fan of long-wearing lipsticks but this one is definitely a keeper! I picked up the shade Geranium and it's a very pretty rosy subtle nude on me. It's smooth and creamy going on, and the balm on top imparts a pretty light shine. Both the color and balm are nice and light, you can't really feel it on like a lot of other lipsticks and balms.

The color lasts very well, and unlike so many other long-wearing lipsticks this one doesn't flake or ball up as the day goes on. After the balm wears off it does feel a little dry but nothing unbearable, and the color still stays put and looks nice once the balm has worn off.

I love the case, too. I don't need to carry a separate mirror with me, and I don't have to worry about losing the color or the balm when both are kept in the same place. It's small enough to be tucked into the pocket of my jeans when I don't feel like bringing a purse with me, too. Overall I love this product and can't wait to try a couple more colors!

I have never been a big fan of long lasting lipsticks. This one from L'Oreal might be the exception. The package includes the lipstick, conditioning balm, and mirrored case. You first apply the color, let dry for 30 seconds or so, and then top with the balm.

What I love about it: the lipstick and balm are clipped into the case, so you never have to worry about losing the lid at the bottom of your bag. You just push up the tube, unscrew and use. The case is flat and clear enough to use as a mirror - so handy. And of course, the color is rich and lasts all day.

What I dislike: once the balm wears off, the color below feels crackly and your lips pucker a little as though you've been drinking lemonade. However, I find you need only reapply the balm and the color rehydrates and is nearly as good as new. It really does last all day, so you need to use makeup remover or an oily lotion to get it off. I am by principle not a fan of makeup that adheres to my face and refuses to come off with water.

If you need a lasting color, this is a great choice. I have "Amethyst" and wear it often.
