It covers very light blonde shades, too!
I am totally surprised at how well this product worked for me. Honestly, I didn't even expect it to work so well on my very light blonde hair. This year, I have twice dyed my hair (very light blonde). Unfortunately, this totally damaged it and I had found myself driven into a corner. My roots started growing out fast along with lots of baby hair after giving birth (my natural colour is dark blonde) and I didn't want to dye it again permanently because as mentioned above it was already brittle. So, a semi-permanent creme remained my last resort at that time. The L'Oreal Paris Casting Creme Gloss did completely cover the light blonde at the very first attempt. Moreover, the attached conditioner significantly smoothed my hair - plus, there was enough to use it even twice! The only disappointment came afterwards - the colour was supposed to last up to 28 washes. Mine did only up to 10-14. But, I guess it's because it was a major colour change. I read once that it is advised to stay within two shades of your current colour when dying at home. Maybe if I had dyed my hair in two steps (very light blonde -> blonde -> dark blonde) it would have lasted longer. Anyway, I'm no pro and still I'm very satisfied with the results I had gotten within literally 15 minutes at home at an affordable cost.
