I was very excited to try this product, unfortunately it didn't do anything. I've been using it for two weeks now and I haven't noticed any differences.
Here are my issues with it:
- The side for outlining your lips is very thing and awkward to apply without a mirror
- the product tends to dry to a chalky finish on my lips
- I didn't find it particularly moisturizing.
Basically it didin't do anything - my friends didint notice a difference either from the other samples I gave them.
I was really excited to receive and try this product from chickadvisor but I was very disappointed with it once I did get to try it.
I did not notice any difference after a couple of weeks of using it. I dont think it really works. The only part of it that I did like using was the contour side (where you apply the serum around your lips and blend). I enjoyed the tingly feeling that the contouring serum gave me but again, there were no noticeable differences in minimizing lines around my lips either.
I wouldnt recommend buying this product, its a waste of money.
While I do not have very many wrinkles, my lips are usually very dry . The product made my lips even drier. However, after applying for 2 weeks, it didn't really help. I also did not see much plumping effect. When you first apply, lips looked smooth but you have to keep reapplying the moisturizer. This product was a disappointment, would not buy it or use it again as it did not live up to expectations.
I received 2 free tubes of this from the Product Review Club but I really wasn't impressed. First of all, I found that it was messy and made my skin burn and secondly, it didn't even fill in the very tiny lines I have around my lips. Definitely won't be buying this.
I did not really like this product. Thankfully I do not really need help with filling in lines but the thought of plumping lips had me quite excited! But once i had tried the creams i felt that neither of them worked. I did get a tingly feeling after applyiny the lip plumper but it was not a good tingly feeling and started to worry that i might be allergic, thankfully not. Also donèt know if the cold weather had a part to play but my lips were more chapped than usual. All in all i would not recommend this to anyone not worth the money.
My lips are usually very dry and feathery. This product was supposed to be 'anti-feathering' because it has collagen. However, after applying for 2 weeks, it didn't really help. My lips were still feathery. I also did not see my lips having much plumping effect. Maybe because I have only used it for 2 wks? A few of my friends had tried it too but didn't notice much difference. When you first apply, lips looked smooth but after a while I have to reapply a lip moisturizer.
Upon receiving this product and handing it out to my friends and family, I was very optimistic about this product. I've had lip glosses and other lip products in the past that have plumped up my lips, and therefore expected this product to work. This product is somewhat like moisturizer for your lips, at least htat is how it feels when you are applying it. Unfortunately after using the product for about a week and a half, I have noticed no difference what so ever. Unless you are planning on lathering on five layers of this stuff, you're not going to see a difference. The friends and family I shared this product with all reported that it did not work for them either, expect my sister who reported her lips looked slightly more plump immediately after using the product but as soon as it absorbed or was wiped off her lips went right back to normal.
I was initually very excited about using this product, unfortunately it came no where close to coming up to par. I didnt find that it helped with the plumping, or anything for fine lines either. I dont really have fine lines, but I do have dry lips, but I know of much better products for dry cracked lips.
I was really disappointed with the L'Oreal Paris Collagen Filler Lip. I received this as part of the PRC and used it every morning for a week. I don't have any visible lines or wrinkles around my lips to begin with, so the line filler for around the lips did nothing for me. The lip plumper tingled a bit when it went on and that was it. There was no noticeable plumping of my lips at all. Unfortunately this product was very disappointing. The one redeeming factor was that it did make my lipstick last a bit longer and it moisturized my lips nicely (which is great during the cold dry winter).
The packaging is great and it's nice to have the two products in one. It fit nicely in my makeup kit and was no longer than my powder brush. The applicator tips on the product(s) work well for dispensing the product right where you want it around your lips, and for applying and rubbing it into the lips.
The price for this is completely unreasonable. I have never purchased any kind of lip line filler or plumper before, so I have nothing to compare it to, but $24.99 for 12ml (6ml of the filler and 6ml of the plumper) seems outrageous to me.
I did pass along two of the six full size samples I received to my mom. She does have fine lines around her lips, so maybe the filler will provide her with noticeable results. I will be sure to update my review with her thoughts once she's tried it.
Thank you to the Chick Advisor team who was kind enough to send me this product. I’ve been using this product for a couple of weeks and I didn’t really notice that much of a difference.
I applied the product before bedtime and in the mornings (on most days) and there was a little bit of tingling, but after that it feels like it is just moisturizing your lips and doing little plumping. I thought the gloss was nice though and not greasy at all.
Sadly, I don’t think I would buy this product, even though I love most L’Oreal products!
