I tried this out and was happy to see that for one thing I wasn't allergic to it (usually i have mild allergies to lip plumpers :)). The product worked in that it took smoothed my lips out and did create a better definition when I applied gloss. I am not sure how much plumper my lips actually got but the fact that it smoothed out fine lines was good enough for me :). I found it easy to use, the only criticism i would have is that the first step (anti-feathering) was a tad messy if you weren't careful with it. I liked the fact that this product only smoothed my lips and wasnt too dramatic, definitely you could use it everyday. I will continue to use it until I run out, but I would probably only treat myself to something like this in the future. Thanks product review club!

I am thrilled to have had the opportunity of trying to product. As a 40-something, I am starting to definitely need some help around the lips!.

First of all, this product surprised me in that it is a 2 in 1. I read the instructions and applied the product as directed. I have to say that putting this on was a breeze and I was a little worried about chemicals smells and I am thrilled to say, there was none! Once I applied the plumbing cream (which I did overnight), the next morning, my lips felt smooth and nice.

I really did like the effect this product gives my lips. I was not sure what to expect and it had visions of waking up with big, puffy lips but this was certainly not the case. I also love the fact that this product does not involve weird waxing (I hate hot wax) or needles of any type.

Of course, I will have to wait a little longer to see the longer term effect, but I have to say that I am loving this one.

oh i didn't like this product at all...it was hard to apply, messy and didn't do anything for my lips! i normally wear lip gloss so i don't have to worry about feathering so much. this was just more of a hassle....didn't like it.

I received this product to review and it's unfortunately disappointing. I found that the anti-feathering serum left residue on my upper lip area making me look like i have a dry flaky moustache. I put the lip plumper on my lips before bed and when i woke up my lips were dry and cracked. That is definitely not what I need when I live in such a dry area and really need that extra moisture.

I'm giving this product a miss.

I recieved this product from the Chickadvisor Product Review Club. For a $20 product, I wasn't expecting miracles.. but as my lips could use some plumping I was more than happy to give the product a try. I doubt I would have purchased this if I saw it on the shelf before I had the opportunity to try it out.
As I still have 3 months to go before even hitting the 20 year old mark, I don't have a problem with fine lines and wrinkles just yet! However, I'm all for prevention and Step 1 of the application is an anti-feathering cream that you apply around your lips. It is supposed to define and prep the lips for lipstick. It felt nice, but I didn't think it did a whole lot for prepping the lips. I liked using the product before bed because it left some white residue if I put another lip product over top, and it really can't be worn alone if your going out.
Step 2 was for filling in the lips, and is supposed to plump the lips for hours. If I applied this and waited for it to fully absorb, I could put lipstick on and my lips definately did look plumper! It didn't last all day, but as I said it's not a miracle worker. The result looked similar to having just been kissed, and lasted about the same amount of time too!
Overall, I liked this product . I will probably repurchase it once I run out. I also had five products to give away and my family/friends were all very happy with their plumped lips as well!

I received the Collagen Lip filler just before Christmas. As I always give my girlfriend a package of samples as part of her Christmas gift (these she really looks forward to because they are usually products she would never pay the price for, for herself) I included the Lip Filler you had sent to me for her. Well, she loves it! And as for the one for myself, WELL, my daughter saw it and tried it and liked it so much I didn't have the heart to take it from her. Thank you so much for sending these products and rest assured they are going to be used and enjoyed by these two ladies.

I recently received a sample for myself and 5 friends - and was really impressed to see that this was actually a 2-in-1 product. I am a lip gloss junkie - and have at least 4 different types in my purse at all times, so I was really excited to try this product. What I loved was the convenience, portability, and average price for a high-end product. I found the moisturizer for the "feathering" effect was great, and smoothed the skin around my lips. The actual plumper really worked - and what is even better, it has no strange smell or strong tingling sensation. Lets be realistic - for $19.99 you cannot expect lips that you would get at a plastic surgeons office. However, this is a great, economical option that does provide real results that will list approx. 2 hours. I would give it a try if you are interested in lip plumpers. I would caution that it can be a bit drying, so for best results, I would add a moisturizing lip stick / gloss on following application.

I was recently sent the sample packages of L'Oreal's Collagen Filler Lip to test and share with friends. The first thing I noticed was that it was a dual ended product, therefore you are actually getting two products in one. On one end of the tube, there is a lip contouring cream which is supposed to help smooth out fine lines/wrinkles around the lips. The anti-feathering formula promises to "redefine the lip line in order to prep for lipstick application". I personally saw a change in the way my lips looked after I contoured them with the cream. My lips seemed to stand out more than usual and I could see some sort of definition, sort of like the effect you get when you apply a neautral shade of lipliner. However, I do not have any fine lines around my lip area, so I could not tell whether the product helped reduce or smooth out this problem.
On the opposite end of the tube, there is a plumpling serum/cream with Hyaluronic Micro-Spheres which is supposed to help hydrate your lips and smooth them out. My lips were very dry the first time I applied the serum and in no way did it help hydrate my lips. In fact, it made them appear drier. However, I tried a different approach the second time around. First I applied a lip balm to moisturize my dry lips and only after did I apply the plumping serum. This worked wonders and has made me fall in love with this product! The plumping serum also contains silica, which helps smooth out your lips and provides an excellent base for applying your lipstick or gloss. I would consider this product more of a lip primer, but it did also plump my lips. I liked the fact that it did not make my lips sting, as many lip plumpers are known to do. I also appreciated the natural plumped look it gave my lips and I loved its matte appearance. A lot of lip plumpers have a glossy finish to them, but this did not. I also found my lipstick lasting longer during the day and it looked so smooth as well.
If I was not sent this product to test, I might not have purchased it on my own, simply because it is rather expensive ($25.00 CAD). However, now that I've tried it, it is something worth investing in and I've noticed that you do not need apply a lot of the product in order to give you the desired effect. Therefore, a little will go a long way.

L’Oréal Paris Collagen Filler Lip has a Anti-Feathering Cream to redefine lips and a Plumping Serum to plump up and smooth lips. I am unhappy with the the Anti-Feathering Cream because it did not smooth out lines around the mouth to redefine lips to prevent feathering, and so I was doubtful that the Plumping Serum would do what it promises. During the initial days of testing out both ends of the products, I noticed no difference in my lips but after about a week, I noticed that my lips were indeed fuller and because they were ever-so-slightly plumped, there were less lines and so they felt and looked a lot smoother. Still, the first step of the Anti-Feathering Cream disappoints. The Plumping Serum also helps to to smooth out the application of lipstick which I like. Overall, I would not recommend this to anyone because it does not do what it promises.

I have very small lips and was looking for a wonder product that would be my solution...well unfortunately, L'Oreal Paris Collagen Filler Lip was not that product.

I am still young, 21. and I do not need the "step 1" procedure which is supposed to make my outline perfect and reduce the appearance of wrinkle lines. However, for the sake of this review, I still tried it and noticed absolutely no difference in the appearance of my mouth.

"Step 2" also fell short of my expectations. I really wanted this product to work - bordering on placebo effect - but alas, it did not. I did not enhance the appearance of my lips in any way even though my mouth is very small to begin with and would be very evident if any genuine alternation took place.

I would not recommend this product to my friends, but I gave the 5 packages away to friends and family.

Thus, I would not buy this product again.

*I have received 6 packages of L'Oreal Paris Collagen Filler Lip free of cost on the condition of reviewing it.
