Fun to do different styles

Love that you can do different looks and how easy it is to apply. Only thing is I wish it would last a bit longer and stay vibrant longer than the first wash. Price is affordable and got 4 or 5 different uses before the bottle was empty.

I thought it would be more bluish purple

This was the first time I ever used colorista product. Normally I use Splat, but when I saw the Indigo500 color, I decided to give it a go. The application process is so easy, but the results were not as I expected. Instead of a deep indigo, I ended up with this weird, electric blue, borderline turquoise! I have been "dip-dying" my hair for a couple years now, so the bottom half of my hair was already a pale blonde to start with. I guess I can live with this odd blue, but I am certainly not thrilled by my results... I expected a deep indigo hue like shown on the box! After this, I'm going back to my regular brand, because, aside from the excessive color bleed, I've never been unhappy with it.

This makes my hair look so pretty and healthy

A pretty purple colour hair dye. I left it in for an hour, and it has left my hair a gorgeous deep purple shade. My hair is naturally brown, and I didn't bleach it before using this colour, so it just made my colour look dark, a deeper shade, with a purple shine, and it feels and looks so healthy, soft and shiny. Love the easy-to-use tube, and can be re-used as comes with a flip-top tube. Also comes with additional pairs of black gloves. A fab product.

Loreals color rista in the shade purple was the best semi permanent hair dye I've ever encountered!
Not only is the color so luscious an vibrant but it also has an outstanding lifespan ! Usually with other semi permanent colours/brands they last anywhere from 1-4 weeks tops but this brand lasts at minimal a month !
Another fascinating thing about this product is the size of the bottle! Although small it is not to be underestimated ! It's easily spreadable and easy to comb through if needed!
The price per bottle is around $10.00 however it is worth it especially when you compare a top brand semi permanent colour (such as manic panic) valued at around $22.00 and last about half of the time this brand lasts !
I highly suggest you atleast try this brand!

P.s they now offer pastel colours such as bubble gum pink, light teal, lavender, baby blue and many more!

I was so excited to try this! I have naturally blonde hair, and planned on going purple for an upcoming event (and a while after while it washed out!). My hair matches the box for the darkest blonde it is recommended for before lightening.

Before I dove head first, and while I still had time to get the pastel mix-in formula if it was too dark for my liking, I did a test strip on the bottom back of my head, which would be totally hidden even if I did a big enough piece to really tell how it goes.

The instructions are confusing, with the outside saying put it on dry hair and the inside saying on damp hair. I try dry, first, since it was anyway! I pin most of my hair up, except for a chunk in the back, and go to town. I put a lot of electric purple gel-cream of my gloved hands, and work it onto the hair. The colour in the gel started to fade immediately into the hair, but I layer it on, and then wait. I gave it a full half hour (go all out, and cut back later. That's my motto!). When I go to wash it out... Nothing. I wash the purple tinged water into the sink, dry the section... and it's the same colour. Not purple-ish. Not something that might be considered a pink or a blue. It was blonde. So, I try again. This time I wash my hair, towel dry and try a section on the other side of my head. Half an hour, and another rinse later, and my hair is as blonde as when I started.

I checked the next day to see if there was any change to the curing colour, and again, absolutely nothing.

I'm really disappointed by this product.

Love using this product or washes out in a few washed and doesn't dry my hair out ,I can use a little or alot as it's in a easy to use tube came with loads of gloves 3 pairs and a nice applying brush ! Thumbs up

The new L'Oreal Colorista hair colours are amazing. As long as your hair is blonde-ish, the colour either comes out super vibrant or nice and pastel, depending on how you mix it. It really does only last 3 washes, which is nice because I chance my mind so often and it's fun to have pink or purple hair for only a week! If you want longer lasting colour, there's different things on the market but this is so great for short term.

Bon moi après avoir reçu un emballage de coloriste pêche pour mes cheveux blond et l'avoir fait je me suis dit que j'allais essayer une autre couleur car celle ci ne paraissait pas vraiment. Donc j'ai appliquer le violet et c'est a peine si cela paraît aussi dans mes cheveux je suis un peu déçu car pourtant j'ai les cheveux pale je me teint blonde.... et cela n'a pas fonctionner donc reste a voir si il y a une étape manquante a quelque part ou si c'est juste le produit qui est.... poche...

Comme toutes les couleurs de la gamme colorista, l'indigo est facile d'application. L'odeur n'est pas aussi désagréable que les teintures traditionnelles. Comme indiqué sur la notice, la couleur dure entre 4 et 11 shampoings. Plus les cheveux sont naturellement foncés et moins la couleur est flashy. Elle reste visible, surtout avec la lumière naturelle, et fait plus effet de reflet le reste du temps.
C'est amusant est cela permet de changer de couleur de cheveux, ou d'essayer des couleurs qu'on oserait pas en temps normal, sans prendre de grand risque puisque temporaire.
Seul point négatif, quand on se lave les cheveux durant les premiers shampoings, la couleur dégorge énormément! Pendant mes 3 premiers shampoings, je devais mettre une serviette sur mes épaules lorsque je les séchais car de l'eau bleue coulait des pointes...

I would not recommend this product to anyone! It was a complete waste of money, after applying the whole bottle to my hair and waiting 30+ mins with it on there was no change in colour whatsoever. I was excited to try this product as I wanted to try out a purple shade in my hair for a while now, and was drawn to the semi permanent. Very disappointed it didn't do what it advertised. I don't know maybe it is only for bleach blonde hair types or something like that. Definitely wouldn't not purchase again..:
