One of my favourites!

This is a brand that I trust, and this hair colour is awesome! While a lot of brands wash out of my hair within a few washes, L'Oréal Colorista usually sticks for at least a month.
The price is alright too, for only being semi permanent, and not permanent.
Another thing I really like about this product, is that there are actually shades that work in darker hair, like mine. So no more harmful chemicals for bleaching!
If I had any complaints about this product, I think it would be that I would like to see more colours, at least for dark hair, but I imagine that more will come as time goes on.

It works

I’ve been wanting to change my hair up a bit— it was a light brown (previously bleached ages ago) with darker brown roots (natural hair color). It’s a nice color, but it rubs off a lot on my neck when my hair is down.

I’m sure it’ll was out in the time stared on the box. It’s nice for a quick change but there are alternatives for around the same price point.

When you're feeling Blue

This product is fun for a quick hair transformation but I would recommend buying two boxes if you have long and thick hair--didn't quite have enough to get the full colour experience. It's fun for a little experimentation, and my ends held the colour a little longer which made for a fun look. It's not for overly dark hair though--I think if my hair had been a even a shade or two darker it wouldn't have taken so check the box before purchasing. Overall, a fun little purchase.

Does exactly what it promises to

I have bleach blonde hair and used the blue hue. I left it on just a bit over 20 minutes (accidentally) and it was much more blue than i expected. I also did not shampoo it out, just rinsed with water. The color however is a very pretty blue, and it did not damage my hair at all. 

It is washing out a bit slower than i expected, has been just over two weeks and the color is still quite bright. Just a warning to be careful if your hair is very light and dont leave more than 15 minutes, unless you are looking for a bright color. 

Definitely recommend this product. A fun, safe way to have some fun with your hair color

Love the brightness of color

We use this product for my teenage daughter. The color is bold and beautiful yet can be changed/redone as wanted. She loves to break this stuff out for the summer because as an army cadet, she is not allowed to have the colored hair during training :) Would certainly recommend.

Good for grey hair!

I love to dyed my hair, but the problem that I have if that I have grey hair!!! 😞 yeahhh it sucks, and my gray hairs grows really fast, so I purchased this product because the permanent colours to dye my hair damage this hair and make it dry!! Sooo I tried this and OMG I loved it! Covered all my gray hair, last for more than 15 shower hairs and it’s amazing! Also leaves the hair smooth and smells really good. Is amazing to have. A product that I can use more than once and doesn’t damage my hair! I strongly recommended! You can find it at wallmart or Shoppers

My favourite semi-permanent hair colour, full stop.

last year I decided to visit a colourist to have my super dark hair professionally bleached and ‘oil-slicked’ and it was amazing. But I couldn’t afford to see her more than twice a year - so what to do between visits? Enter L’oreal Colorista! Great colours available but I chose Teal, and it’s amazing. Unlike more permanent options, there’s no mixing involved, so you don’t have to discard your tube after you’ve used it - just keep it for next time! Comes with a brush (which I didn’t bother with) and gloves. Easy peasy - apply, leave for 20 minutes or so, add cool water, lather, rinse, lightly shampoo. Works great on lightened hair (my bleached parts are only in sections) and sit still well on dark. Lasts 4-10 washes, which is a great amount of time. Personally, for the first 3 washes I put a towel over my pillow in case of transference. LOVE IT.

color your hair

This product is easy to apply and the product does not smell that bad either. Color goes on well and takes to light hair good. From all the colors this one tended to fade the fastest.

Really good for adding a little fun to your hair!

The colorista is a really good option if you wanna colour your hair but don't want to commit to anything harsh. I had to colour my hair for an event where I used this to dye the bottom 1 inch tips of my hair and it worked wonderfully. The colour was vibrant but didn't look tacky. I have dark hair but my tips were blonde and it worked great however I can't vouch for how well it would show up if you are trying to dye dark hair without bleaching or lightening. Overall I'd buy it again to change my hair without much effort! // Le colorista est une très bonne option si vous voulez colorier vos cheveux mais ne veut pas s'engager sur quelque chose de sévère. Je devais colorier mes cheveux pour un événement où j'utilisais cela pour teindre les pointes 1 pouce de mes cheveux et cela fonctionnait merveilleusement. La couleur était vibrante mais n'avait pas l'air faux. J'ai des cheveux noirs, mais mes conseils étaient blonds et cela a bien fonctionné, mais je ne peux pas répondre à la façon dont il apparaîtrait si vous essayez de teindre les cheveux noirs sans blanchiment ni éclaircissement. Dans l'ensemble, je l'achèterais à nouveau pour changer mes cheveux sans beaucoup d'effort!

Des que j'ai vu cette couleur j'ai voulu l'essayer. La couleur bleu pale est vraiment tres belle et ne tourne pas au vert lorsque la couleur s'atténue. Il est facile de jouer avec cette couleur et de la combiner avec les autres et donne toujours un beau résultat. Le seul point négatif a mon avis est que la couleur ne s'en va pas completement, meme si on refait sa couleur par dessus, une décoloration est nécessaire si vous voulez retrouver une couleur uniforme. Tres bon produit de L'oréal.
