I agree with everyone who talks about the clumping. I am no stranger to the dual tube mascaras, and I have to say, that beauty manufacturers are getting better in perfecting the product. I feel that overall, this isn't a bad product, and for what you get, the price isn't all that bad either. However, it is far from perfect.

Let me just say this, "Great Lash, it is not."

The product is notorious for clumping, producing spider lashes and the first step pads the natural (and attractive) taper at the end of our lashes with tiny balls of crap that make lashes look odd. The only way that I've been able to work with the mascara is to employ the use of a clean spool and an INCREDIBLY light touch.

So rub off the brushes with a tissue to remove the access of the brushes with a tissue,apply, run the spooli through your lases, comb them if need be. Add second coat after brushes are wiped clean, apply, run the spooli through or comb them if need be.

That seems to fix the trick - even though it IS A HUGE pain in the butt. This mascara is worth it, only if you want or are prepared to make the commitment. I work from home as a freelance writer, so yeah, I have the time to f*ck around with mascara

The removal is A1, it doesn't flake, it doesn't smudge and it sure as heck doesn't run down my face, smudge my eyes and make me look like my boyfriend beat me when I'm sitting in the condo hot tub. It comes off with water and gentle rubbing. That's it.

I was pretty excited for this mascara because I had heard a lot about the 'tubes' type mascara. I have sensitive eyes and they itch especially in the winter when it is dry, so I usually have problems with flaking this mascara claims not to flake. So I tried it out and it doesn't flake even when i have to rub my eyes, and removal is fantastic, no dark circles at all! My issue with this is that the look is nothing like it claims. I did not experience much lengthening, and in terms of volume I couldn't do multiple coats without getting clumps. Its definitely a low maintenance mascara, but not good if you want a dramatic difference

I've tried a lot of mascara. And I've never had awesome lashes with any other!!! It makes beautiful diva's eyes. It's very easy to use and easy to remove too. Won't live without it!!!

This product is not what L'Oreal claims it to be. It is suppost to extend your eye lashes with "80%" extention, the only thing you get is 80% clumping. It made me look as if I had spider legs for eye lashes and I did not get any extention at all. I would not recommend this item to my worst enemy. What a waste of money.

Pure Garbage...they claim it doesnt clump...thats all it does instantly clump clump...and omg when washing it off it turns into this slimy string gooey stuff its gross ive never been so dissapointed its just a big mess i cant believe l'oreal came up with this bcuz they're usually so good when it comes to mascaras

I love the removal of this !!! I bought this a couple days ago but am used to the removal from using Kiss me mascara and Clinique Lash Power. I think that my favorite L'Oreal Volumious is alot better because this mascara can not keep curl.
I HATE removing my Waterproof Voluminous, and I will keep these both around. If the Voluminous was the tube technology I would have my HG.

i've been waiting on reviewing this mascara untill i had tried it several times and was able to write an honest review on its performance. Normally im a loreal voluminous user but when Loreal came out with the double extend i just knew i had to try it out.

This is the first lengthening mascara i have ever bought because i am more concerned about having dramatic bold lashes (which Voluminous mascara is pretty good for).

my lashes are pretty decent in length but they are pretty straight and dont have much curt.

Pros:
-Lengthens lashes very well, and i found that i really liked the way it looked

-Ease of removal: i like to take a shower and just wet my lashes, and then near the end of my shower i just basically touch my lashes and the mascara comes right off. i love how there is no mess and no makeup remover

-No flaking, and i have even on occasion slept with the mascara on and in the morning it pretty much looks the same as it did the night before. so its great for late nights followed by early mornings.

- as for volumizing, i found a trick: put the white base coat on your lashes really well, so that your lashes basically look white. then do the other eye with the base coat (so that your first set of lashes have time to dry with the base coat) and then go back and put on the second coat to lock in the color. Doing this gave some volume and made my eyelashes look very nice. it wasn't extremely bold lashes but the length and intensity of the mascara made a great combonation.

-CON: to get a look that has a bit of volume i find it takes waaayy to much time. it litteraly takes me almost 10 mins to apply (b./c i try to coat each lash really well with the base coat and let it dry slightly).

also, my little volume trick didnt work each time, and im not sure if its because my mascara is drying out now but lately i have been getting the spider eye effect, which i didnt experiance in the beginning.

OVERALL:
this is a mascara i will definatley keep on hand because there are nights where i work late and have to wake up early and this mascara really holds up well. also the ease of removal is just too hard to pass up. Looks like i will have 2 mascara staples now.. loreal voluminous and this one.

I have been using this mascara quite a bit during the holidays, waiting to give my feedback because - to be honest - I was still on the fence about it.

Pros:
* compared to bare lashes, I would certainly say that my eyelashes looked close to double in length. No other mascara I have tried thus far is as lengthening as Double Extend, not even close.
* my lashes are wonderfully soft and the mascara washes off very easily (best is to splash your face several times with warm water before washing or take it off in the shower). I never need to follow up with eye makeup remover.
* there is no obvious smell to the product and it's reasonably easy to apply.

Cons:
* I don't mind to put my mascara on in two steps, but the dark coat clumps easily.
* it's not very volumizing, so my lashes look long but a little sparse. The clumping makes it even more obvious.

Overall I definitely recommend this product. It's not my top choice but I will probably keep a tube on hand for special occasions.

I bought this mascara with high hopes. I seen it on a commercial and I obviously knew it wouldn't look as good on me as it did on the models on the commercial since they probably had falsies on anyways. I had bought it for about $11. I was terribly disappointed. It clumps up so bad! I have never liked mascara that didn't clump, because I always felt that a little clumping adds a better effect to your eyes. BUT GEEZ! I have long eyelashes to begin with, but I love adding length. And this mascara did give me good length, but it felt heavy and it was super clumpy. Watch what you buy!

Was sceptical about this one, I actually workes!! makes your lashes longer and comes off with ease.
