Helped with my itchy & flakey scalp

I bought this product after repeatedly treating my hair for dandruff without success. I did some online research and found that it wasn’t likely dandruff that I had but rather a reaction to the sulphates and paranoid. I figured it couldn’t hurt to try a sulphate-free product to see if there was any improvement. There was!!! Almost immediately my head was not as itchy. Shortly after, the flakes went away. Yay! Success! The only thing I don’t love is that by the second day my hair doesn’t smell great. Dirty hair doesn’t usually smell good but the heavy fragrance in other shampoos often masks the dirty hair smell. This one doesn’t. Small downside for relief from itching and flaking.

This a good value for a sulfate-free drugstore option. I love the ingredient list and the fact that it's gentle and moisturizing. It does a decent job at being true to claim: reparative and smoothing. It also controls frizz.

The only down side is the scent. I admit to being sensitive, but the scent is far too strong. It's listed as the 7th ingredient on the ingredient list which seems to suggest a high concentration.
