Excellence by Loreal

This is the only one I will use, I like the natural look, my hair is medium brown and I highlight it with foils, I tone it down with streaks of the #5 color medium brown when the highlights become too much. It's a natural brown color, not ashy, Other brands just can't hold a candlestick to Loreal! Loyal fan here!

Love this colour product! Full and complete coverage..usually covers even the greyest of grey. Leaves hair feeling healthy and shiny...Colour range is very good..

I have tried many drug store hair dyes and I always go back to this one. I find the price to be middle of the road. I have psoriasis on my scalp and this product does not irritate like others have. Coverage is good and there is not a strong odor. The conditioner works well although the scent is not my favorite. Overall this is my favorite hair dye.

I used to use this when I colored my hair brown, I loved the shades and the color lasts forever, does not rinse out easily. I did not even have to use sulfate free products. Its colors add so much shine and it is not very damaging on the hair. I love all of the loreal products they deliver excellent quality, no matter what color you use. I used it for blonde as well and never had orange or yellow hair, and I did not even have to bleach my hair first to reach the desired color and lift.

I am privy to using Loreal for all myy box hair color's, but I just used this one today for the first time and it is awesome. It really is NO DRIP.. When I took a wide tooth comb to comb the color through to my ends as a refresher, it didn't splatter either, and it went though my hair like butter, no tangles like other Loreal colors Ive used. Also the smell is not as strong as some other permanent gray coverage colors. I will be saving the color tab off the box and using this one for now on. I use G15 Dark Chocolate Brown. My hair is smooth, luxurious, soft, and shiny. Very happy and recommend this.

I have been coloring my hair for years, and am very familiar with the how tos and not tos of hair color instructions. I followed the L'Oreal instructions carefully as it's not my usual brand - I bought it because I had coupons and it was on sale. After the whole process I was utterly disappointed in the color, light ash blonde turned a horrible shade of blondish grey, and the condition of my hair thereafter was horrible - dry and straw like. I actually had to cut at least half the length because there is no way I could style my hair to hide the damage! I am extremely angry and will never use ANY L'Oreal product again.

I've used L'Oreal since I first started colouring my hair 15 years ago and even when I try something new, I always end up going back to it. Within the past 12 months I have started fining my first grey hairs and while they are spreading rapidly, you'd never know it because of my L'Oreal Excellence hair colour in dark golden blonde. This will always be my go to and has never disappointed me.

I use this to cover my whites! I only really have started getting whites and mostly along the crown of my head. I use L'Oreal Excellence in natural black every 2 months and the colour lasts a long while and the conditioner that comes with it really keeps the hair from feeling rough or damaged!

I have been using this product for years and love it. It is super easy to use and the colour comes out just right every time - no one but my husband even knows that I dye my hair! Only downfall is that much like other home hair kits, the solution is rather smelly and messy if it gets spilled or splashed. The conditioner that comes in the box is also very effective. Great product.
