Helps my fine hair becomes more full. Keeps my hair non oily the entire day. After using it for a week, i notice less hair falls off.

I got 2 samples from the Toronto International Film Festival....for shampoo and conditioner for this product. Keep in mind that I have full waist long Asian hair. I thought the sample wouldn't be enough shampoo for my head, but it was thankfully. I feel like my hair has more volume then usual after using it (and I've tried it twice , each a week apart). I like it, I think I would use it again.

Their conditioner (which I will put in another review) is a very thick cream (not runny at all), and coated the ends of my hair well (I never put conditioner on my scalp or roots or else I would have no volume). It took out tangles easily and felt good.

My hair is dyed..and after using this product, I felt as though my hair was lighter in colour. I am unsure if that's because it's more drying then my normal shampoo, or if it's because this shampoo doesn't state that it protects colour treated hair.

Would I purchase it? Maybe, but I would prefer a colour protecting shampoo and conditioner formula.

Keeps my hair clean for days! And healthy of course :) Great product.

After using shampoo and conditionner, my scalp is really hydrated but not greasy at all, my hair is super soft and super shiny, and my split ends are just like repaired!

bought in in special at Jean Coutu for around 5$ for each product but they are worth a lot more than that in my opinion!

I have hair that gets super oily as well as is very damaged from all my styling tools. So anytime I find a product that says it is restorative I kind of have a hard time believing it. This product was bang on, the whole part of the total repair line is bang on. It works amazing separate but even more phenomenal all together. I don't even have to wash my hair every single day, I can go 3 days with out washing and its still amazingly soft and has no greasy to it. I am a huge lover of this line and suggest it to anybody with damaged hair or just wants their hair to be super healthy.

This made my (current) dry hair so soft and shiny after just one wash! I was impressed - and happy. It also smells nice. I would recommend to anyone.

When it comes to Shampoo and Conditioners,L'Oreal Hair Expertise Total Repair 5 shampoo is by far the best.It leaves my hair squeeky clean with a beautiful shine,a shine I couldn't get with any other Shampoo.I use this Shampoo with their Total Repair Expertise Conditioner and it feels fantastic.My hair is totally manageable when I use this Shampoo with the Conditioner,seems like one works great with the other.

works good! , I had very dry hair and very brittle. and after a few use I could see a difference.

Overall, I have been impressed with the L'oreal Hair Expertise hair care line. I have tried the Argenine Resist shampoo and I really liked that one so I decided to try another shampoo from this line - the Total Repair 5 which claims to help repair 5 signs of damaged hair without weighing it down. This shampoo promises (1) Strength, (2) Density, (3) Vitality, (4) Shine, and (5) Silky Touch.

After finishing the whole bottle, I can say that it does deliver on those promises only when paired with the conditioner. This shampoo alone will not provide enough moisture for your hair. It lathers well and washes off easily. It does leave your hair squeaky clean without drying it out or leaving any residue but if you want added shine to your hair, always pair it with the conditioner.

The product is pretty inexpensive (~$4-$5) for the large bottle and readily available. I'm on the fence whether I will repurchase this shampoo again. I like the Argenine Resist a lot better so I will probably stick to that one. I would still recommend this shampoo though, maybe to use during the summer months because it's light enough and doesn't weight the hair down. For the winter months, I would opt for something more moisturizing.
