I really thought that Root Rescue did a great job. It covered ALL of my greying roots, and was so easy to use. I found the scent mild and nice. It made my hair feel soft and healthy. I really liked the unique aplicator, it made targeting my roots very easy! I would definately reccomend Root Rescue to a friend, it is a great way to keep your colour looking new and fresh!

Did not cover greys as well as other similar products on the market. Not enough product in the package to cover entire roots.

All though I found the L'Oreal root rescue easy enough to use I did have some troubles with it. I like the little hole in the box to hold the bottle up right for you while you mix the solution and so you have a safe place to put the bottle down with out having to worry about it falling on the floor. It was very easy to mix and it came out of the bottle with little effort. I like that the applicator has a brush on then end making it easy to get the solution on my hair just where I wanted it and no where else. I have very long hair, so doing it by my self was a bit of a trick when I had to part my hair to get to the next section. After I got all of the solution on my hair and was happy with it, I had a hard time with the gloves. They were very hard to get off and the eye glasses protectors didn't stay on for me very well at all. They even made my glasses fall off of my face a few times. If I'd change any thing about L'Oreal root recue it would be better gloves. I left the dye on for the extra five minutes because my gray hair is hard to color. The coloring was a bit strong, but not to over powering like some dyes can be. It said to add a bit of water to your hair and rub it until it was like shampoo, but the step didn't do a thing for me. It rinsed out with no troubles and it rinsed out faster then I thought it would take. When I had my hair all washed and dried my hair was nice and soft. L'Oreal root rescue did do a pretty good job at covering most of my roots how ever I still had a few stubborn gray hairs poking through. Over all I'm happy with the way L'Oreal Root Rescue touched up my roots, but I'm not thrilled with the gloves and eyeglass protectors. I'll be buying it the next time my roots show up. Thank you for letting me be one of the ladies's to review L'Oreal's Root Rescue. I look forward to doing more reviews.

How was your overall experience with using this product (gray coverage, ease of use, colour matching, length of time needed, how your hair looks/feels after application, etc.)? Considering i dont have gray hair, it's a little hard for me to judge the coverage. However, I used it to touch up my roots and based on the applicator it made the job extremely easy. no mess, and very precise. The colour was very good, but i did leave it on for 15min rather than 10min because i have dark asian hair and i've noticed i typically need to have it in a little longer for the pigments o take. My hair feels normal, not dry nor coarse from the dye. How does this product compare to other home hair colours (including root-targeted products) you've used in the past (if applicable)? I was a little confused with the product. Typically, more at home colouring kits gives you a conditioner with it, this didn't have one. Also, the instructions always tell you to rinse with luke warm water and use the conditioner, but to not use a shampoo as it could strip the colour. but this dye told me to use shampoo so it was a little odd. but i followed and used shampoo, and it looked fine. Would you buy this product again and/or recommend it to a friend? I would definitely recommend this to friends who wants to do root touch ups because the applicator simplifies life. also, the colour is easy to match as long as you know what colour you are in L'Oreal products. I'm thinking of getting a box for my mom so i can see how good the gray coverage is!

It was easy to apply. I did miss a few areas, but that was my own fault and nothing to do with the product. I LOVE the fact that they had glasses protectors in this. They really need to do that for all at-home hair colour. The grey coverage was really good. I have mostly grey hair and you simply can't tell that with this product. I did keep it on for a full 15 minutes and maybe a few more. And my hair is really soft. I was surprised how well conditioned it was for a hair colour that didn't include a conditioning packet or tube. That's another feature I'd love to see in other hair colour kits. A conditioning hair colour without the extra step. I would definitely use it again, as well as recommend to a friend.

I was lucky enough to be chosen as a tester for Root Rescue (thank you so much, Chick Advisor!!) The product was easy to use; no dumb little mixing tray; it's in a tube that you shake until thoroughly mixed. It matched my hair colour perfectly (I don't know how they do that) and it covered my gray. Completely. It took 15 minutes once the colour was applied, so that was pretty quick. The results were pretty much the same as other Root touch-up products I use, but I really like the ease in which you prepare it; so quick and easy. I will be using this product in the future and definitely recommend it to my chicks'!!

It's a good dye for just the roots. However, the color was bit too dark for me, as I have brownish hair on black. However, im sure a graeter colour selection would do the trick. It was not irratating at all too.

I received a free sample of the L'Oreal Paris Root Rescue Hair color from the ChickAdvisor Review Panel. I was very impressed with this product. I followed the directions as stated, and I had no problems with it. It was not messy and very easy to apply to my roots. Also, I loved the color! It matched my hair perfectly. It also made my hair feel nice and soft after the application. I had not really considered using a root touch up product before, I always just bought a new box of dye, so I was glad to try this out and have such great results. I will be using again in the future and would absolutely recommend this product to family members and friends.

This product was very easy to use. It covered my gray/roots well. The color blended well and it made my hair feel soft. This item is definitely worth the price. It's so nice to be able to do touch-ups rather than doing the whole head. Would definitely recommend it and would use it again.

it was an easy product to use, the comb at the end made it easyer. I Have thick hair so I had to make the product last to cover all my roots.. might have been easyer if A) I had 2 boxes or B) I had just re-dyed my hair. But other then that I would recomend this product to friends and family.
