This surprisingly worked pretty well for me. I think this works better if you have flatter eyelids in general, or are a monolidder. Unlike other l'oreal shadows, I was somewhat surprised at the lack of pigmentation in these shades. I was also rather disappointed at the amount of product for the price. Despite that this works as a quick way to apply makeup, some blending is still required to make the shadow look ok. This worked better for me when i actually used a cotton pad folded in half to apply this. The sponge is ok, but its somewhat unsanitary and all the colors get too muddy. Despite that this is salveageable for me, it is a quick way to put on eyeshadow with little effort.
This is a great eye shadow which makes my eyes stand out everytime I wear it. I love how easily it blends together. It works best with an eye primer (like any eyeshadow) and the price is reasonable. I would recommend this product to anyone.
I love how this product applies so easily and it lasts all day. I find like with any eyeshadow, it works best with an eyeshadow primer. I love the compliments that I get when I wear this eyeshadow. People always ask me what I am wearing. I would buy this product again.
Love this eyeshadow. Use it almost every day. Very quick when you're in a hurry, but yet looks like you spent a long time on your makeup. I only wish it came in more colors.
I have tried the Loreal One Step Eyeshadow in Playful for all eyes and I love the colors and the fact that you get a little of each color in one sweeping motion. You can start by sweeping lightly if you want a suttle color look. It taked a couple tries to get the hang of it but it is fast, fun, and easy, I just wish it wasn't that pricy, CVS usually sells it for 9.99, I believe. I had my CVS bucks and there was a bogo sale on Lorea products so, I had a great discount, so I ended up having to pay very little for it! :)I also wish they had more colors. But I think I would definately buy it again in a different color combo/kit. I would give it 4-5 stars.
I loved the concept about this but that was it. The applicator brush didnt fit the actual shadow portion, so it didn't pick up enough of the bottom colour. Then the colours went on 'strippy", so I nedded my eye shadow brush to blend everything together anyways. Also the colours were not very pigmented. The top and middle colour barely showed up. I threw it out after a few tries.
I had doubts about this particular eyeshadow. I thought it may be a gimmick but found it worked well. Was really simple to use and I like the color combination. Very convenient. I'm able to put this on quickly in the mornings.
It is a really great idea. I thought it would be nice for the days when I am running out the door and want to do a really quick eye makeup. I was really disappointed with this. It is extremely difficult to apply, and it doesn't look good whatsoever, even after blending and reapplying I end up just taking makeup remover and going for a different eyeshadow. In my opinion it was a big waste of money and I wouldn't recommend it.
When I saw this I really wanted to try it because I am pretty lazy when it comes to make-up so it seemed like such a cool idea to do one sweep and you get all 3 colors on your eyes! When I opened it I tried brushing it on my hand and it looked awesome! The 3 colors were really nice and true to its words I only did one sweep. Today in the morning I tried to do the one sweep thing to my actual eyelids and it didn't turn out as nice as when I tried it out on my hand.
This product does work but I really need practice to master this one-sweep wonder. If I can master it, then it will be such a joy to put on this eyeshadow everyday and they can look pretty even on both eyes.
I've been using it more and I find that it is extremely easy to apply. Just sweep it once all over the lids and then get a blending brush and brush out the edges and you're done. Great eyeshadow!
I received L’Oreal Paris The one step eye shadow as a gift from the Chicks at Chick Advisor. The three color eye shadows are pressed into the same pan and you are provided with an oversized applicator to sweep up all three colors at the same time, so you can apply all three colors at ounce saving you time. My self being a bit dense in the head didn’t realise this when I first saw the over sized applicator and still didn’t get it until after I went to the web site and read up about it. I’ll be alright one day, I hope. LOL
So because I’m so dense, when I first used it I didn’t use the applicator the way it was meant to be used. I just put some of each shadow color on a different parts of the applicator and applied it the way. The brown color tones worked very well with my brown eyes and it didn’t go on to dark, witch I really liked. I think the concept of this applicator is pretty different, but I’m not sure how well it will work when used in the way it was meant to be used. If you do choose to use the applicator the way it is made to be used, then you’re suppose to use one side of the applicator for one eye and flip it to the other side for your other eye. I wish I would have known this before, but live and learn. Any how I’m sure it will take some practise before you can get it just right, I know it will probably take me a lot of practise, but that’s just me. How ever if you just can’t get it to go on right for you, then you can still use this shadow. Just use it the same way you’d use any other shadow and you’ll be happy with this product. I really enjoyed trying out L’Oreal Paris one step eye shadow even though I was a little dense with it at first and I’ll be using it for a long time to come. It comes is several different shades for all eye colors, so there’s one for everyone. Thanks ladies, it was very sweet of all of you to send it to me, the colors are prefect for my skin tone.
