This Mascara is one that made me step away from the Mascara that I was using for years! The brush is small and curved in just the right places, with the brush you actually get the corner lashes and you don't get marks all over your eyelids!! (BONUS) I love it, the volume works as well to give you a fuller look. It's a must have in the makeup bag!!

This mascara caught my eye at shoppers when it was on sale that particular week, and I bought it on a whim. And so far I really like it, it's not the most amazing mascara that I've ever used. But it works pretty well, as well as companies like L'Oreal and Maybelline always have great coupons on their websites, so take advantage of those too!

This is a good mascara, but I must admit that I did not find very convenient brush, but it is my individual opinion, because my sister, she loved it

I used to be a big fan of the L' oreal voluminous mascara in the grey and gold tube, but this "butterfly" mascara worked nothing like advertised. I was severely disappointed. I ended up throwing it out after only a few uses, which for the price is ok I guess. It was clumpy and made strings of product off my lashes. Poor product.

I bought Voluminous Butterfly mascara by L'oreal in black and I love it! It doesnt clump!

The L'oreal Paris Butterfly Mascara sounds good in theory, claiming to give eyelashes a fluttery, butterfly effect with its unique curved wand. It has a curved shape, with one side wider than the other which supposedly enhances short, outer lashes. However, this is actually poorly designed. The curved shape might work for one eye, but then you have to flip the wand and hold it at an awkward angle to get the same effect on the other one. Furthermore, I don't even see a difference. The wand is too stiff, the bristles are too small, and it's a pain overall to apply. I got the waterproof formula, and it flakes SO MUCH. After only 2 hours, I had dozens of small black dots scattered under my eyes. Plus, it takes so much tugging and pulling to remove, even with my best makeup remover. As if that's not bad enough, it is pretty pricey for a drugstore mascara that doesn't even work. Definitely do NOT recommend this mascara.

The formula is great. Stay all day with only little or no flaking at all. Add lots of length and volume to my lashes. The brush is perfect in my opinion. It really helps me achieve a more dramatic effect around the outer corner of my eyes. The only downfall is that it is very hard to take of, even with waterproof eye make up remover. I always lose a few lashes, but it is worth it ! One of my holy grail mascara ! Images where taken from internet.

I am very happy with the final results but I find the wand flimsy and awkward to use. I wish there was more instruction on how to use the wand effectively.

It looked pretty enticing on all the pictures and everything.
But...it has done nothing like it said it's supposed to make your lashes look like.
I did not notice any difference using this and a "regular run of the mill" mascara.
Pretty disappointed in it.

Loreal advertises this product as a non, clumping lash extender that will gradually increase the length of the lash toward the outside of the eye. The way the brush is designed all of the mascara clumps in the wand, thus transferring the clumpiness to your lashes. The product does not extend your lashes in any way. I got the waterproof variety and boy does that feature work! It works so well that the mascara won't even come off when i wash my face, I need to take some lotion or makeup remover on a q-tip and scrub at my lashes to remove it which I find to be way too much work. I definitely would not purchase this product again.
