I did not like this product. First off, I know that it is a BB cream so the choices are only light, medium and dark but normally the colors match quite a bit of skin tones with those 3 colors. This product does not work unless your skin perfectly fits the color of the cream. Another thing is that when you apply it, it moisturizes and creates a nice finish but it makes your face look really greasy. It does not provide a lot of coverage which is fine for a BB cream but its coverage is too light. It creates a little tint of color and the rest is like a moisturizer. It does not cover any little blemishes or even some redness like around the nose. You need to pile on concealer and mattifying powder to look presentable wearing this BB cream.

Not a terribly solid effort on L'Oreal's part. This product does not compare to the other BB Creams on the market. Feels shockingly cheap on the skin. Skip this disappointing product, your skin deserves better.

My mom bought some L’Oreal Youth Code BB Cream and she didn’t care for the shade she bought, so she gave it to me. I’ve been using Garnier BB Cream for most of this year and really like it, so I wasn’t to sure about changing to this one. The L’Oreal web site tells you that their BB Cream is a magic skin beautifier that contains beautifying beads that instantly self adjust to the prefect shade for a flawless nude look. I’m sure this can be true if you buy the right shade for your skin tone, but because it’s available in four skin tone shades, you still have a chance of buying the wrong shade like my mom did. This is why I highly recommend you ask if you can test the shade of a foundation, or a BB Cream that you’re thinking of purchasing before you buy it. If they say no, then go somewhere where you can try the shades. It will save you money and the frustrations that goes along with ending up with something you can’t use. The L’Oreal Youth Code BB Cream web site also tells you that it delivers multiple beautifying actions such as hydrating your skin, correcting your skin tone and it evens and prefects it. One of the others that reviewed this BB Cream before me mentioned that if you use too much of this BB Cream it can be a bit oily I found the same thing happen to me when I tried it, but I also found this was the case with the Garnier BB Cream that I have been using. As long as you use it sparingly you can get nice coverage with out that oily look and feel. Also if you do happen to use too much I found that using a bit of translucent powder does correct this. After I tried the L’Oreal Youth Code BB Cream in the light shade, I wasn’t overly thrilled with it. Yes it gave me nice coverage, it went on nice and stayed on until I took it off, I just ddidn't like the shade I have, it gave me to much of an orange under tone. Other wise I didn’t find anything all that special about it. It costs about the same as the Garnier BB Cream that I already use and is less then some others that I have seem in stores. I believe how much you like, or dislike BB Creams, no matter who the maker is just depends on each person, just like a foundation. We all like one BB Cream brand more then we do another BB Cream. This is just one of those products that you have to try yourselves. I believe as long as you get the right shade for your skin tone then you’ll be happy with the L’Oreal Youth Code BB Cream. I know I would have liked it a lot more if it was the right shade for me.
