I recently tried the L’Oreal Professional Paris Intense Repair Cuti Liss System Intense Nutrition Masque The label with the instructions was so small and a major strain to my eyes that I had to get a magnifying glass just so I could read the directions to properly use the product. The Masque had a mild scent and medium texture. I liked how well it worked through my hair and it didn’t leave it tangled. However, my hair felt a bit dry after use.I did not like the process of applying the masque to my toweled dried hair. Towel drying my hair is something I rarely do, I prefer conditioners that can be applied to wet hair. I don't think I would be using this product again.
I was sent this as part of the product review club to try out. I usually love Loreal products, but I was so turned off by the smell of this I could only use it a couple of times. When I did manage to leave it in my hair, it didn't feel like anything special. When my hair was dried, I had terrible fly aways and static. I gave this away to a girl friend who could actually tolerate the fake plastic banana smell and she seems to like it. I definitely won't go near this again.
This is a great brand - thanks to the product review club for letting us try it out. I usually use a masque once a week (I have fine hair, and find masques, including this one, can weigh it down if I use too often), so I swapped my usual for this one. It has a nice creamy texture, and a great scent, which lasted once my hair was dry. I had recently got my long, blonde hair highlighted, which can leave it dry and damaged, and I did think this masque helped to leave it silkier and smooth and healthy feeling. My only issue with this product is the price. I think that the masque I usually use (which is also from the cheaper, regular L'oreal line!!) does just as good a job - I couldn't really see or feel a huge difference between this masque and my usual, which is about half the price. This masque is a good product and special treat for your hair if you're willing to drop the money on it!
I generally like hair masques and leave regular conditioner on for a couple minutes, so I had high hopes for this one. But I really didn't see a difference although my hair did feel a tiny bit thicker. I'd rather stick to my regular conditioner that works just as well and costs half the price
I didn't really feel too big of a difference with this product! I don't usually use hair masques so I gave this to my mom to try and she didn't really feel it was all too special either. It seems to accomplish the same thing as a lot of cheaper alternatives! It's a fine product but the price is really what gets me :S
id say that this is not worth the price, i felt that it did nothing more than any other store brand. the slight banana smell was good, but i like my fragrance to last a little, and it does not. i also did not like that the bottle is a jar not a squeeze bottle, as i hate digging my hands in to get the masque out. also does not offer much in the way of detangling, i had a heck of a time combing my hair out afterwards. overall its fine, but nothing special.
I have never tried anything from the L'Oreal Professional product range so I was excited to give this shampoo masque a go because my hair tends to get damaged quite easily as I dye it every month.
The most important thing to me in a hair mask is the consistency - I couldn't care less for runny and watery masks - I want them to be super thick and "cling" well to the hair without dripping everywhere. Also, for some reasons, I just feel like it works better if it's thicker.
This mask smells of banana, which I loved! I mean, how many times will you come accross a hair product that smells of banana? It's not overpowering nor sickly sweet, but super pleasant!
This product does leave my hair smooth and shiny but I can't say it has really repaired my hair. Still, it's a great mask!
I have I have to use the tiniest quantity of product to cover my hair from roots to tip, so I think this tub will last a long time if you use the mask once a week. It's still pricey for an mask that, I'm sure, has tons of more affordable alternatives at the drugstore.
I recieved this as part of the review club. Overall, the product is good but I don't think that it's superior to other cheaper conditioners.
The masque feels quite thick but doesn't weigh my hair down. I've been using this every day for about 3 weeks and haven't noticed any change to my hair. I'm not too found of the packaging - I always find a jar to be a bit finicky to open in the shower and water gets in.
I wouldn't recommend this product mostly due to the price - for $30, I expect a lot more. I'll stick to my drugstore Pantene instead.
I got to try this along with the Repair Shampoo. Let me start off by saying I absolutely hate the packaging. I believe the conditioner itself could have been used in a more user friendly squeeze tube like the shampoo rather than in the jar format. The masque itself was okay but nothing out of the ordinary. It did not do any better than my $5 hair masque does. I also found it quite annoying that you needed to towel dry your hair before applying this product. I did that the first couple times and then later gave up. What I ended up doing was just squeezing as much water out of my hair before applying the masque. I don't think there was a difference in the moisture level of my hair because of this. just like the shampoo, I believe this hair masque is of average quality with an above average price. Because of this, I will not be recommending this or purchasing this product.
I wish there was an in between answer for would you recommend this product.. My answer isnt really you betcha.. but its isnt forget about it either...:)
I have been trying the masque for a couple of weeks and have liked it.. not loved it.
I found it really annoying to have to apply it to towel dried hair like the instructions tell you to do. i did that the first few times and gave it up and started just applying it in the shower after shampooing. I used this product along with the intense repair shampoo as well. As i said with the shampoo i found this product made my already thick full hair feel heavier and somewhat greasy. I did find that it was a great conditioner and smelled great however that smell did not last beyond drying my hair.
Another draw back to this product was the design of the bottle. The product is not a really think consistancy and therefore could have been put into a squeeze bottle making it more managemable in the shower. It was a little awkward to use.
As a regular use product i dont think i would recommend it as it is very expensive for something i was not completly satisfied with. I do think however that i would like this product as a couple times a year use when i find my hair getting dry. the deep intense moisturizer did work well so for that reason i would probably use this again. It is rather expensive however
Thank you for the opportunity to try this product.
