I was not a fan of this product. I thought it would help my hair from breaking- but I found it to be a very heavy product, and I have insanely light and fine hair.
I was excited to use this.. it was alright but it left my hair feeling a bit weird texture wise. Also made my hair smell odd. Wish I could like this product :(
I usually buy the absolut repair formula, but thought I would try this one. While this product is good, it does not condition my hair as deeply or thoroughly. It has a nice fragrance, and a little goes a long way, but it is not as effective for my hair as the absolut repair formula.
L'OREAL PROFESSIONAL INTENSE REPAIR MASQUE;
This mask it does work, especially after suffering damaged hair after blonde hilights by a bad salon visit.
It does absorb well into the hair and does provide great positive results.
I find this mask though can not be used too often, it will make your hair feel heavy, and thick after washing.
It feels the product has not been washed away from the hair, even after long periods of time washing hair in the shower.
It does work but I would not use it too often, maybe once a week, once every 2 weeks depending on your hair and the repair it needs.
It does feel extremely smooth to the touch, nice feeling.
Love the smell, hair felt soft but the price kills the bank. I have long thick hair and went through this fast.
My brother and I love this repair masque. We use this a lot during the months we go swimming a lot and when we're out in the sun a lot. We find that our hair is roasted by the chemicals in the pool or by the sun. This is a deep and moisturizing hair mask. It's the best for color-treated hair like mine. After washing the mask off my hair is soft, manageable, and really brings back the bounce and life back to my hair. My brother stopped using this product because he notice that the product clogged his hair pores. :(
Thank you to Chick Advisor for the opportunity to test this product. Much like the accompanying shampoo, the Repair Maque had a pleasing scent. The product itself works well and left my hair soft, smooth, silky and tangle free. The issue I have with the Intense Repair Masque is that when used as directed, it can be very time consuming. The directions state to apply the product to towel dried hair, waiting three minutes then rinse. For me, this required showering to wash my hair, then showering again after application to rinse out the product. I barely have time to shower once in a day let alone twice and for that reason, this is not a product I would buy again. I followed the advice of some other reviewers and used the Masque as a traditional conditioner, rubbing it into the ends of my hair and that was beneficial and much more user friendly. Since I only rubbed it into the ends, I didn't have to use a large amount. Bottom line - too time consuming for this to be part of my regular beauty routine.
this was an ok product.i didnt see amazing results.it didnt really make my hair soft.but it helped with detangling.
I was given the opportunity to sample this product and loved it. The smell was fantastic and I found it made my hair very soft and easy to work with. The only thing I didn't like was the texture of the product and I found that I had to use a lot to get it evenly distributed through my hair. Unlike the shampoo where I only used a small amount, I had to use a lot of the masque in order to get my hair coated. The directions also say that you have to apply it to towel dried hair and then let it sit for three minutes before washing it out which is a bit of a pain. I loved the shampoo but I'm not sure I would use the masque on a regular basis, too much extra work.
