As I received this as a "product review" I have no idea what the price was- but based on the small size I imagine it isn't cheap. I use salon products normally as I do notice they make a difference but was a bit weary as to whether L'Oreal could compete. And they can! This product, used with the L'Oreal Professionnel Intense Repair Masque, really made a difference! Easy to use (and I had to travel over the last week - so easy to travel with also due to the size), nice light scent, and thick creamy texture were the first things I noticed. I have thicker dry hair and always have issues with frizz. I immediately noticed a resulting smooth texture, less frizziness and softer texture after my initial use of this product along with the accompanying masque. I would definitely consider purchasing this and highly recommend it!

I was very excited to receive the Loreal Professionnel Intense Repair shampoo to try! My hair is very dry and I'm always looking for a shampoo/conditioner that can make my hair look wonderful. I think I found it!

When I first received the shampoo, I was very surprised by the smell. It was very mild and not flowery like a lot of other shampoos. It kind of reminded me of bananas! I did find though, that the scent didn't last long and that once my hair was dry, there was no scent left at all. I would prefer to have a mild scent that lasted throughout the day, but its not a deal-breaker for me!

When I first used this shampoo I figured that I'd have to use a lot, as I have very thick, crazy hair. I was surprised that I only had to use a little to get a very good lather. I had no problems rinsing it out, and I noticed a difference right away. My hair was smoother, softer, and felt a lot more hydrated. I've used other products in the past that promise these results, but this is the only one that has actually delivered!

The only downside that I can find is the price. Its definitely a fantastic product, but at almost $30/bottle, I know its not something that I can afford to use regularly. I would absolutely recommend it to friends, but I will watch for it to be on sale before buying it for myself!

Overall Experience:

Ease of use - The Instense Repair Shampoo is easy to squeeze, and the flip top cap is a winner. I am this kind of clumsy person that if I remove the cap, and i am bound to lose it.


Texture - Just right for a shampoo, so I can easily apply it to my hair. Rich,creamy, nice feel on the scalp.

Scent - mild scent, easy on the nose, please have more scent like this one, love it.

Packaging - simple and functional and economical.

Changes to your hair:

Smoothness- it feels very squeaky clean after shampoo. The first time I tried it, it was after a sweaty Zumba class, and it did drain all the excess oils. Now that I said that, there are frizz coming out. Ouch! Luckily, I use it with the Repair Masque and it did wonders.

Moisture level- I think the moisture level applies only to the Repair Mask, this Shampoo is suppose to give it clean feeling and it does.

Healthy appearance - Hair looks fuller, and very squeaky clean.

Compare to other products you tried in the past? This one so far is the shampoo that deep

cleans oily scalp and cleanses sweat drenched hair, better than my regular shampoo.

Received this product as a product review so can't comment on the price but this is a really amazing product! It's not overly scented and overall easy to work with. Don't need very much to work up a good lather. I immediately noticed a difference to my hair. It was a lot smoother. In the past, I would need to use another (smoothing) product on top of shampoo and conditioner prior to blow drying to get rid of the frizz, but with this L'Oreal shampoo and the conditioner (repair masque), I didn't need anything else and the hair came out really smooth after blow drying. Hair looks really healthy and shiny. I would definitely recommend this to others and would recommend this over any other "repair" shampoos out there.

I was super excited to receive this product to review as my hair could definitely use to help! First off I have long hair...more than halfway down my back. It's pretty thick.....and big....and tends to get dry and extra unmanageable in the winter months. I've been using this shampoo every day since it showed up on my doorstep.....so for about 3 straight weeks.

I must say I was very surprised with how well this product worked! It has a very light/thin texture which at first made me worry that I'd have to use a ton of it to get my whole head lathered up, but not so much.....a little went a long way. This shampoo definitely had a scent as well........it reminded me a bit of banana......it was okay, but not great. After my first wash and dry my hair felt immediately softer and easier to work with.....and my frizz seemed to be a lot less. 3 weeks later and I'm still experiencing good results......my hair seems healthier and more manageable......and feels much silkier than before. Overall, I would have to say this is a really great product.....and would love to use it regularly....but the price is quite high. Do I think the price would be worth it......probably.....but it' not something that fits in with my finances right now.....and even if it did, honestly, I'd still have a hard time paying that much for a shampoo. To those who are willing to spend that much on hair products....go for it! It's a great product and you won't be disappointed!

I was lucky enough to try this shampoo along with the Repair Masque. Overall I thought the product was okay, but not great. I thought the squeeze tube packaging was okay and the scent of the product was nice. Originally, I was thrown off by the size of the bottle because it looked so small. Thankfully, a little of the shampoo goes a long way. You can get quite a nice rich creamy lather from just a little product that feels great. In terms of effectiveness, I thought the product was alright. From what I understand, this is supposed to be considered a higher end shampoo, but I didn't think the quality was much different than a drugstore shampoo. Despite the thick lather, the shampoo is not drying and did not leave a tangle of my hair which was great.

I don't think I would recommend this due to the above average price for an average quality product.

I really liked this product. I've been using it for about two weeks now and there is definitely a noticable difference in my hair. The only thing is that I do not find this shampoo as effective on its own, without the masque. Although, together, my hair has more volume and is much smoother than with any other treatments that I have tried. As long as it remains effective, I will likely buy this shampoo again.

I have been trying this product for a couple weeks now and have liked it. The first thing about it that i noticed was the great smell. Very fresh and tropical. That being said i was dissapointed in the fact that the scent disapeared very quickly after drying my hair.

I found my hair very moisturized, especially when used with the mask. My olnly complaint being that since i have a lot of hair i usually try and find shampoos that do not add to the thrickness/fullness of my hair. I found after using this product along with the mask that my hair was almost too full and therefore heavy. My roomate uses this product on a regular basis already and she has thin hair, so for her this is perfect. I know she would recommened this product to anyone especially those with her hair type. I however do not feel that for the price i was completly happy with the result. Not a bad product. Just not something for me. As it is considered a professional product it is rather pricy for a rather small bottle. Many other professional shampoos come at almost if not double the size for alot less price.

The first thing i noticed when receiving this shampoo was how great it smelled! very tropical and smelled like pineapple to me which was very nice. i thought it worked very well with my hair and felt it leaving clean and hydrated without that greasy feeling. i felt it worked better than other moisturizing shampoos i have tried in the past and my hair was very easy to detangle after the shower. i would like to use this shampoo again but i think it is probably very expensive in the stores. i'm glad i had a chance to try it out!

I like this shampoo. It has a pleasant scent and is mild. I chuckled at the directions which said to "rinse carefully". I didn't find that this shampoo was more difficult to rinse than any other shampoo, so I'm not sure what this direction is getting at.

The shampoo is moisturizing without being too greasy or causing build up. I used it with a different conditioner instead of the masque it is supposed to be used with and liked the results.

That said, it's a pretty small bottle for $30, so I wouldn't buy this product again unless it was on sale. It works good, but not so amazingly that I would be willing to pay that much for such a small amount of product. It works similar to cheaper alternatives.
