I was really looking forward to trying L'Oreal Professionnel Intense Repair Shampoo because I don't normally splurge on salon brand shampoos. At first I thought the bottle was quite small but I soon realized that you only have to use a very small amount to achieve the results that you want. I thought the scent was very light and pleasant and it lathered well. I noticed my hair texture to be much more smooth and manageable after only a couple of shampoos so I was very happy with the results. I'm not sure I would pay the price on a regular basis but for a treat to myself every now and then it would be worth the splurge. Thanks ChickAdvisor!

I would like to thank L'Oreal and Chickadvisor for the opportunity to try the L'Oreal Professional Intense Repair Shampoo and the Intense Repair Masque.I live in a climate in Canada where its been a very cold harsh winter, this is my first winter living here and my hair has really suffered.

I have thin blond(color treated)shoulder length hair that is usually dry to normal conditions. The climate however had damaged my hair and it the appearance and texture became like straw along with the straw like hair I was getting very bad static and flyaway hair.My usual brand of Shampoo and Conditioner were not helping at all.So this review came at the perfect time for me and I'm so pleased it worked for my hair.

I received the Shampoo and repair masque a week ago,I have been using both daily before submitting my review to see the affects of using the two for a week. The Shampoo was created it says with regard for dry locks developed with the Cuti Liss System, which will provide nutrition and strengthen dry hair.It really has done all this for my hair.

The bottle is small(250 ml) it comes in a small yellow plastic bottle that fit perfectly into my shower holders.Because this product is from a salon and not a shopping mart I probably wouldn't buy it on a regular basis as I only go to the salon about every two months.I also find the price quite steep. However I would use this product in the winter months and probably only use it once a week as needed.

I like the smell I actually prefer it over the smell of the repair masque,I found it odd that they both smell so different. The shampoo I find smells like Bananas and then when lathering it through out the hair it has a crisp smell like melons. It lathers up really well and spreads through out the hair nicely,It rinses out well with no residue and non greasy. The texture of this shampoo is very rich and creamy and little goes a long way. After my first use my hair felt soft and, smooth and really nice and shiny,it really controlled the flyaways well.My hair felt really clean and started to look healthy after one use.It also gave my thin hair bounce and volume which was a great bonus. My hair was very manageable and easy to comb out.

I like that it also has not faded my color treated hair. After using this for a week now my hair is back to normal soft and smooth no more straw hair!It also feels so lightweight in my hair. There a few things I'm not happy with one being the ingredients. There is Sodium Laureth Sulfate and Parabens. Most hair care products now are trying to stay away from these added ingredients. There are other methods so hopefully that is something L'Oreal may consider.I also found the writing on the bottle brutal to read a bigger font would be so much better and easier on the eyes. All in all this product really saved my hair and got it back to a healthy condition so I'm so pleased with the results. My review of the repair masque will follow later this evening or tomorrow. Thanks again L'Oreal and Chickadvisor

I was very excited to try this product when it came in the mail! My first impression was that I was a bit disappointed with the packaging, it looks a bit cheap with the plastic grey cap. It smells like melon which is alright but I've been using it for a week now and I think I am getting sick of it. It lathers quite nicely and a little goes a long way. My hair feels smooth after I rinse it and not as dry as it usually does. I don't know how much this product costs so I only gave it an average rating. I don't think I will seek out to buy this product.

I was very excited to receive these products in the mail as I live in a very dry climate, which makes my naturally dry hair full of frizzy, brittle, fly-away hair. I enjoyed the product. It smelled pleasant and worked very well. I don't think that I would recommend the shampoo as much as I would the mask. I, like some of the reviewers, have very long hair, and the amount you receive in the bottle will not last me very long. The mask, however, I think would be worth the price as my hair was soft, shiny, and silky smooth.

Meh. I wouldn't buy it again. I too have very long hair, and the size of the bottles they are selling simply doesn't cut it. The product however works fine, but thats all , fine. Its not worth the cost- Thank you!

I got this sent to me from the product review club and I was sooooo excited! To start off, the shampoo, smells AMAZING! It kind of smells like bananas or those candy hearts with the messages people get around valentines day. The masque sort of smells the same, just fainter. I have naturally thick, coarse, wavy, frizzy dry hair, and this transformed the way my hair looked. It made my hair so smooth, even on the second day. Prior to this, I has been using a sulfate-free shampoo, and the fact that it didnt lather didnt really bother me, but as soon as i started using this, I remembered how much I loved the lather. I would definetly recommend this to anyone, and the only con is I think its a little pricey.

I have high expectations when it comes to "better-than-drugstore-brand" shampoos, so I'll cop to that particular bias, right off the bat. What do I love about L'Oreal Professionnel Intense Repair Shampoo? The lovely, light, tropical scent, the easy lathering, the rinsability, and the feel of moisturized, smooth hair, post-rinse. What do I only *like* about this shampoo? The size of the bottle (I have longer hair, so it won't take me much time to go through this product, I'm afraid...) and the feeling that the bottom third of the product is going to be tricky to extract, given the firmness and shape of the container.

Together with the Repair Masque, I will say that this is definitely a winning duo. I loved the results - bouncy, soft, moisturized hair with very few fly-aways, and a really silky touch. But on its own, my rating for the shampoo is a solid B , since for the price, I wish there was a bit more product, and that I'd be confident in being able to use it all, down to the very last drop.

Got this as a part of the Product Review Club.

I have uncoloured hair and I almost never use heat on it. I wasn't crazy about this product but maybe I didn't really give it a chance. Perhaps that's because this winter hasn't been too harsh on my hair so I haven't really needed "intense repair". I have tried the L'oreal hair expertise nutri-sleek in argon oil and I think this is similar. It doesn't leave your hair dry - to the point where day old hair feels a tad greasy. Not crazy about it but don't hate it either. Probably not worth the price others have mentioned!

I was sent the shampoo and mask to try out and have done so over the last couple of weeks. I love the scent and the lightness of the product; I do find I need to use the mask with the shampoo in order for my hair to be moisturized. The scent does last for the day which is a nice perk.

Cost wise I would by the shampoo on sale but find it too expensive to buy on a regular basis as it is a small bottle.

I received the L'Oreal Professionel Intense Repair Shampoo as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club, and have been using the product for a couple of weeks. While the smell is pleasant, I found the shampoo left my hair dry and coarse. It's rather unfortunate as the product was supposed to leave my hair soft and moisturized, not dry and feeling brittle. The only way to combat this was to use the accompanying masque or a heavy duty conditioner to add some moisture back. The shampoo is not inexpensive and would not be something that most women would regularly stock in their bathrooms. As much as I would have liked to have liked the product, I found it stripped my hair of moisture and did not deliver the intense repair that it claimed. Sorry, L'Oreal, but I will give this product a pass.
