I really really really wanted to like this product but I just do not. It smells good! Reminds me of watermelon Bubblicious gum. But that's pretty much all it has going for it. I normally use Joico (Moisture Recovery) shampoo and get excellent results. I have highlighted hair so hydration is important for me. When I used this shampoo, my hair actually seemed more dry/frizzy, less soft and did not look it's usual self. It seemed dull. Once i went back to my regular shampoo, my hair was much better after just one application. Plus this stuff seems expensive! I can get like a whole litre of Joico shampoo AND conditioner at Chatters for like $40 and it lasts me on average 6 months. Way more bang for the buck and much better quality. If anyone ever asked me what I recommend for dry hair, I'd recommend Joico way before this stuff.
First of all, I received this product from the product review club. I have been using it for a few weeks now and I have started to notice a difference in my hair. I think the shampoo and conditioner work very well together in making your hair soft and nourished. It did not mend split ends but made my hair very manageable and silky. My favorite part is actually that the smell and clean hair feeling linger all day. It is a great product and depending on the price, I would most likely recommend this to others.
Ok first off I received as part of the product review club.
Before this I had never really tried L'oreal salon products. I've tried their drugstore line before and wasn't impressed so I didn't know if the salon line would be anything worth trying. I have seen this shampoo selling for about 20 dollars or so and honestly I was too cheap to spend that much. My hair isn't chemically treated or dyed in any way and I refrain from using heat usually- so I feel like I have less damage to deal with than the average person. That being said, I do still deal with average hair concerns. During winter when its dry out, I get lots of frizz. A LOT, since I have very fine hair to begin with. The cold air really amps up my frizz an fly aways.
Alright lets get to the product. I really like the texture of this shampoo. It's very rich and luxurious. The smell is nice too, its bright and perfume-y. I do notice a difference when I use this, my hair is a tiny bit shinier and there is less frizz. But I am not sure if that's due to the accompanying conditioner. Would I go out an purchase this at full price? Probably not. Currently I am using Dove's nourishing oil line and I feel like I get similar results. Compared to other salon lines, I like it- it's pretty average.
So my thoughts on this: It's a nice treat for your hair. It's not something I would pay ~20 $ for, but I do enjoy using it and I would reccomend it if someone asked about it. OH and I think the packaging is very unique and cute.
The first thing I did when the L'Oreal Professional Intense Repair Shampoo and Mask showed up at my door was to open it up and smell it. Amazing. Reminds me of a summer's day, maybe a hint of watermelon? Whatever it is, it smells great and I couldn't wait to wash my hair! My hair is very dry, can get brittle, so I was hopeful that this is something that would help. I am so impressed with the results! My hair not only smells nice, but its soft, its not frizzy, it feels great! I really love this product.
I don't like that I have to stop the shower and towel dry my hair (according to the directions) before applying the mask and having to wait for 3 minutes (I am a busy mom and don't have much time to shower) but the results are amazing. The price is a little out of my price range however, so its not a product I would be able to buy on a regular basis, but certainly something to keep on hand for the dry Alberta winters that we have.
I received this shampoo from the Product Review Club. I thought this product had a good texture, wasn't too thick or runny, and it had a nice lather to it. The scent reminds me of pumpkin, which is pretty nice and light not overpowering. It left my hair feeling clean and it was easy to rinse in the shower. Once my hair dried, it felt quite soft and there was still a faint scent to it which I liked. It was pretty good at moisturizing my extremely dry hair. However, I do find that it is a bit expensive and especially so considering the size of the bottle. I'm not sure I would buy this again-- maybe just for the winter months!
This shampoo has a nice and light scent. I couldn't identify what it was but I liked it because it was not over powering. It lathered great and rinsed well. Using hair products, the blow dryer and hair straightener can leave my hair feeling very dry and damaged. Using this shampoo definitely works to repair hair and leaves it feeling smooth and soft.
Ok so I've tried this shampoo on several occassion now and here is what I think about it. The scent of the shampoo is pleasent, very light. It lathers quite nicely in my hair. The size of the bottle is smaller then average shampoo bottles. To be honest, I didn't see a big "change" to my hair after using this shampoo but it does do the job of keeping my hair mosturized. I wouldn't consider purchasing the product in the future because I'm not sold on it, I find it a bit overpriced for the amount of shampoo they give you.
L'Oreal Professionnel Intense Repair Shampoo is thick and creamy, smells nice and does a great job! I like this product and would probably buy it again. I have not been using it everyday, as it is an "intense repair" product and didn't want to over-do it. It does not say on the bottle when to use it, but other treatments I have say once a week is enough. The bottle is also not very big, so I wanted to make it last longer.
It makes my hair feel clean and silky. Overall this is a great product.
Thanks, Product Review Club!
I recived this from the Prodcut Review Club (thank you!) and have had great results.
My hair tends to be on the dry side, so I like a shampoo that combats that, but at the same time I look for something that won't weigh down my hair. I've found that this shampoo totally does the trick. The scent is nice, it lathers well and leaves my hair clean and looking great. Overall, a great product.
I received this product as part of testers review club and was pleasantly surprised...
I have extremely long hair... almost to my waist and for this to get through the tangles was amazing!!
I washed my hair with the shampoo and rinsed and skeptically did not use conditioner... I went straight to the leave in masque which I added before I combed and during...
I left the product in a little longer than suggested, I always do, and was quite pleased when I rinsed it out... no residue or greasy feeling... I would definitely reco this product and buy it myself.
