I was so excited when I received this product in the mail. I have thick, long hair that tends to get frizzy in the winter from the dry air and over styling! I have tried this product trice since receiving it and LOVED it! The smell was unique and reminded me of winter squash. Personally, the smell of the product wasn't my favorite for shampoo but it wasn't bad, just different!

My hair is no longer frizzy after two uses, just two. I will definitely buy this product.

First of all...thanks to Chick Advisor for giving me the opportunity to try this product. I really enjoyed using both products. They left my hair feeling soft and very manageable. There didn't seem to be a lot of build up with the product which is something I notice with other products since I only wash my hair 3 times/week. I was able to go a full three days and my hair did't get greasy! LOVE THAT!! The only thing I was iffy on was the smell, it just didn't have that appealing of a scent, it was fine but with a high end product like this, I expected a better scent. Keep up the great work Loreal...you never fail to impress me with your products.

I received the L'Oreal Professionel Intense Repair Shampoo and Masque courtesy of Chickadvisor, to try out and review. I've been using these two products for about a week and have noticed a considerable difference in my hair. It feels softer, shinier and more manageable. I've also had an increase in volume which is quite impressive since my shampoos and conditioners usually leave my hair looking flat by the end of the day. Instead, with the L'Oreal duo, the volume was still there 2 days later! It was also free of tangles, which if you have long hair, you know what a nightmare that can be!

The shampoo lathered really well and I didn't need to use a lot of it, therefore although the bottle seems small, it is going to last me a while. The same is true for the masque. Considering the high end price for these products (in the $20-$30 range), the fact that you can use it sparingly is a great factor. They also have a very nice scent which does linger on your hair when it's dry, but that does seem to disappear by the next day. Also, my hair did not feel heavy or weighed down by the hair masque and it didn't leave my roots feeling greasy. I have used it according to the 2-3 minute recommendation, as stated on the packaging, but I am sure you can get an even better hydrating result for your hair if you leave it on overnight.

The only downside, apart from the steep price, is that these products do contain chemical ingredients such as sodium lauryl sulfate and parabens which can be harmful to our health. It also contains dimethicone which acts as a silicone that coats your hair, therefore, I wonder how beneficial these products will be in the long run and if the hydration actually penetrates the hair shaft or whether it is just giving the "appearance" of it on the surface only. It would be a great bonus if they try to come out with something more natural that has the same outcome.

I would consider purchasing these product if the prices were lower. If I would have to choose to get only one of the two products, I would probably get the hair masque since it really hydrates the hair.

Very nice moisturizing shampoo but does not lather well, IMO. It smells really nice & and made my hair very soft and shiny. I have naturally thick ( very thick) and dull looking hair and usually throw it up in a pony so its easy to manage. But with this shampoo my hair immediatly was more manageable. The masque was awesome as well. It's very thick so it has to be in the tub . ( you'de never be able to get it out of a tube ). i found if i just used a little bit and massaged through my hair without getting my roots , it left my hair very soft and silky. So i was able to skip my leave in conditioner and leave it down. The price is a bit high, but if you want great effects than you need to pay a bit more. I will definatly be buying this in the future.

I received L'Oreal Professional Intense Repair Shampoo from the Chickadvisor product review club. I found this product to be effective and gentle on my hair that at this time of the year is quite damaged and dry. In terms of repairing damage I am not sure if this product alone would have produced noticeable results but in combination with the hair masque it made my hair very soft and noticeably better looking. I would recommend this product but in conjunction with the hair masque for best results.

I received this shampoo as well as the mask from the Chick Advisor Review Club. The review of the mask is under that product name. I was so excited to receive it and try it out! It is the only shampoo I have been using since it arrived last week. My hair is long and thick - I almost always use a heat tool for styling. I thought the shampoo smelled really nice - the scent was not overpowering. It lathered very well and when I was rinsing it out, I could feel the silk feel to my hair. It also rinsed out well. I also noticed a great decrease in the amount of tangles that I had after coming out of the shower and attempting to brush my hair. I did also notice that my hair was softer and overall more healthy looking. I love everything about this shampoo, including the added nutrients! However, the price is quite steep - but as the saying goes - you get what you pay for!! I would recommend this shampoo to others if you are looking for healthy, soft and great smelling hair!

I received it at the beginning of February - perfect, it was time for a little treatment! I tend to be rough with my hair - I dye it and straighten it more than I should. To this day, I've tried it three times.

I don't have much to say about the shampoo - the texture was normal and so was the smell. I followed the instructions and when I rinced my hair, it was a mess of knots. I didn't see a big difference with other shampoos I've tried before.

I do recommend this product, but combined with the masque. I did saw a difference with my hair - it was so smooth and soft. However, I'm not sure this product alone will give you the results you are waiting for and it cost between 20 and 30$. If you are on a budget or something and can't afford to buy both products (the shampoo and the masque), I would recommend you to get the masque first. I think the result will be more satisfying if you use both, but I also think that the masque was more effective than the shampoo.

Great shampoo! You can feel the difference as you shampoo and rinse. Smells great. Lathers and rinses out very well without feeling like there is residue left in your hair. I heat styled my hair after I shampooed and found that my hair was still very silky and healthy feeling after.

This shampoo is great! The bottle is really small so I'm not sure I would buy this myself. I've been using this along with the mask about twice a week and I definitely notice a difference. My split ends used to get really tangled but this helps to smooth them out. My hair is also really soft!

I have used this shampoo a few times now and I am loving it! It easily stacks up against my more expensive shampoos (salon brands). I really like the smell, its not overpowering. I like the packaging, some bottles of shampoo are really annoying to get open, but the design of this bottle is really nice. I've even been able to use this shampoo without conditioner, that's how hydrating it is! I would definitely purchase this again.
