Great mascara and brush but flakes

I true do like this mascara. "L'Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Intenza"
It washes of super easy with just water. I only need a small amount of makeup remover which is nice. With 1 coat it makes my lashes look long and black. With 2 coats, it looks great! Long, dark and volumised. My 1 problem is it flakes on to my cheeks through out the day.
