Best weight loss app
This is the best weight loss app ever, I was using others apps until I Came across this one in the App Store and I’m so glad I did. I recommend this app.
I really like this app. It's very easy to use, and makes everything simple to follow. I like the fact that you can scan in product bar codes, which is very convienient. I'd probably recommend this to everyone out there!
One of the best apps for weight loss.It is an easier and more convenient alternative to a food journal. There is an extremely large list of foods to choose from, and while it may be difficult to determine exactly how much you ate of something, it is really easy to get a ballpark estimate of just about how many calories you have consumed, and make a reasonable calorie limit. I love this app.
I love this app. It's free and super easy to use. Entries can be added very quickly - the database is extensive, or you can scan barcodes.
It's really good for setting a calorie goal/limit and then being aware of your intake. I've been using it for over a month and I've been pretty pleased with how much more I know about what I consume now.
I LOVE this app. It's simply a must have for anyone wanting to live a healthier life. I'm a petite girl who isn't interested in losing any weight (maybe a pound here or there) but this app helps me maintain my weight while eating healthier foods.
A food journal is so important for making yourself accountable for what you're eating throughout the day. It helps me keep track of what I'm eating and how much I'm eating. I don't have any self control over portion sizes or junk food, if I'm not keeping track of it I will just eat and eat and eat till I'm bloated and ready for bed, not good. This app allows me to keep track of everything I eat and allow me healthy portions because I don't want to go over my calorie allowance. It also allows me to keep track of my exercise which is really interesting for me to see how the amount of time spent working out works into my eating routines.
Bottom line, this app is free. You can't go wrong. It has allowed me to maintain a healthy weight and helped me to boost my self confidence and live the healthiest life I can.
Lose It is one of the best weight losing tools yet. I could keep track of what I ate and what kind of exercise I was doing (even walking to and from class counted as an exercise!). The extensive database on this app made entering a regular entry a snap. For anything not in the database, I could easily add my own items by either looking online or simply reading package labels. The tedious part came when I had to enter a recipe, but once it’s entered, you can just refer back to that recipe again later very easily. There were times, though, where I was at a party and simply didn’t have time to keep track of everything I was picking from all day. For this I added a custom “food” simply called “100 Calories” and guestimated what everything added up to. Guessing gets a lot easier when you’ve been using the app for a month. I found that I’d usually add a bit more calories to my guesses, just in case I was really wrong on something. I’m a gamer at heart, and I sort of found using the Lose It! app like playing a game. If I could anticipate my future moves, I’d know what I needed to do earlier to “win” at losing weight. Going to have a beer with dinner? Shit, I’d better get on the treadmill now for an hour to make up for it. This is definitely an app worth getting.
Anyone who has ever tried to lose weight before has come across the importance of keeping a food diary. We all know that weight loss comes down to calories in vs. calories out. Well that process has now become easier and more convenient, at least for those who own an iTouch or iPhone.
Lose It! is a free application that enables you to easily track your energy consumption (calories in) and expenditure (calories out) wherever you go. This requires you to know your base level of calories required (what you body needs to function). Lose It! allows you to create a custom profile, with daily calorie requirements calculated on your weight, height, gender and age. Your requirements can be adjusted depending on your weight loss goals, with options for maintaining your weight or losing between a half and two pounds per week.
You can enter food and portion size easily through a searchable database, including hundreds of brand-name products and restaurants (many of them are US specific). Lose It! also has nutrient information linked to each food which gives you the option to track daily fat, protein, cholesterol, carbohydrates and fiber intake. I find this part useful in the weekly overview section to see if I am eating more fat than protein and things like that. I also really like the custom food application that allows me to add foods from the grocery store that are not available in the database. Lose It! also has a feature that allows you to add recipes. I love this feature! It allows me to accurately count the calories that I consume from a home cooked meal.
The great thing about Lose It! is that you can add exercise information from an extensive list of activities including running, walking, yoga, and even things like housework. You can also add custom exercises by adding information from the machine or a heart rate monitor. The calories burned during exercise are automatically subtracted from your daily total.
Lose It! also graphs your weight loss progress over time and monitors your daily and weekly calorie intake. This makes it easy to see how many calories are left during the day, but also how many you may be under or over for that week.
I really like this application. It has allowed me to lose about a pound a week over the past month and gives me the confidence that I can keep going. No longer do I have to have a pen and paper on me at all time, or try to remember at the end of the day what I've eaten. Because I have my iTouch with me almost all of the time, I find it very easy and quick to add foods and exercise to my log. They have also recently updated the application to link up with a website that allows you to sync you iTouch/iPhone logs with their website to keep track online. You can also add friends and share information with them.
Overall, I think that this is an easy and effective way to keep a food diary to help anyone who is trying to lose some weight, or just to keep on track.
