Great pillow, a bit expensive
The bottom line is that this neck pillow is awesome and by far the best one I've used. Is it worth thirty dollars (current price)? In my opinion, no. Because that price seems crazy to me. Most neck pillows I've bought have been 15 and below and let's be honest, I'm a cheapskate and I'd buy one closer to ten. For thirty dollars, I'd want it to summon a burly man to waft me with palm fronds. However, if money is no object, this is a good pillow.
This grey design is a nice colour and doesn't stand out. You can take off the cover and wash it, though again for this cost I'd expect the zip to be 'covered' as opposed to dangling out where it can poke me.
The real selling point for me is the softness of the fabric and the ease of blowing it up. I, like many, struggle with those stupid little inflatable tubes on everything (beach balls and pretty much anything inflatable), but the design of this inflater is genius. You barely have to breathe into it and it inflates and somehow doesn't leak. A child could do it. The fact that you can choose how much to inflate it, and easily deflate it, is another plus one for this.
The velvet is really comfortable and soft, which brings me to a negative point, I understand the brand needs their name on it, but the tag is annoying. They've done their best to keep it out of the way, but I often use these at weird angles and a scratchy tag is just something I don't want. Given the luxury price, I'd love it if they'd imprint their name on the velvet, which would make it seem well luxe. The travel bag is something some people might use and the eye mask (an extra) is cheap quality and pretty pointless.
The reality is this is a really good travel pillow, though I personally prefer rectangle shaped pillows. It's soft, comfortable and really does take a lot of weight without deflating (we stood on it and it didn't break), but to my mind it's very expensive, so it's up to you to decide if it's worth it.
