Amazing Calming Shampoo!

I got this shampoo to try for free and I ended up loving it! I love the scent of this shampoo over other ones I have used and it really did have a calming effect in my usually frizzy hair. I have already told my best friend about this shampoo, she is always looking for products that are not tested on animals. Amazing that it also has no parabens, no dyes and it’s vegan! Awesome that you can use it on colour treated hair too. I like the fact that it has organic coconut oil with naturally sourced argan oil in it not to mention the lovely lavender too! Works best for frizz when used with the smooth and serene conditioner. I would buy it in the future!

Heavenly scent!

From the moment I opened the bottle, a luscious scent enveloped me!

I had to have my family members smell the product and experience the heavenly scent too, and everyone was surprised by the rich and relaxing scent!

Using the shampoo was a very enjoyable experience - from the relaxing argan oil and lavender scent to the smooth texture to the rich lather! Not to mention the ingredients that are ethically sourced, natural and organic - makes my heart smile!

First impressions aren’t everything!

I received this product for free to review through the Product Review Club, and I’m really glad I didn’t review it right away based on my first impression. I wash my hair every day (I know, “Gasp!”, right? Well, too bad lol, it’s what I do) with the same shampoo brand I’ve used for years, full of good ole chemicals for “moisture”, which makes my hair stay soft and silky. So this was my first time switching to a shampoo made from plant-based ingredients (essential oils), so I didn’t know what to expect. Well, for almost the first week, here was my thoughts: it smells SOOO strong, and makes my hair feel like straw. But then I got used to the smell (very strong lavender smell, not chemical, but smells natural, just strong, from the essential oils), and now I love it, it’s one of my favourite things about my morning shower now. Mmm, lavender. I also realized over time that my hair started to feel less like straw. I don’t know a lot about the use of oils in beauty products, but what I do know is they’re meant to lock in moisture, not produce moisture. So my thought is, my hair was probably so dry on its own but I didn’t notice because of the chemical ingredients in my shampoo, but when I stopped using it and switched to this one, my hair feels as it truly is, so now that I’m using a more natural shampoo, my hair is becoming happier a little at a time. Does that make sense? Well, the moral of the story is, I just really like this shampoo now! So if it makes your hair feel like straw, don’t give up right away! It may soften over time, as mine did. (Also, use the conditioner every time you shampoo, that helps a lot too!)

I loved the smell , I am not a big lavender fan , BUT this stuff smelt great as if it was real flowers , everyone also said my hair smells great . Left my head feeling clean !!

Ce shampoing a permis de bien contrôler mes frisottis. L'odeur de la lavande est assez présente, mais elle se tolère si vous aimé ce type d'odeur. Mes cheveux étaient toujours bien lavés et ils n'étaient pas gras. L'emballage est super beau et ce produit est offert à un bon prix. Je recommanderais ce produits à mon entourage. #graduit

LOVE IT!

The Love Beauty & Planet shampoo i got for free is amazing. The lather is rich, my hair felt so clean and smelled fantastic. It didn't tangle and was completely fine with my coloured hair. So wonderful!

Good Shampoo, horrible scent

I received this product free from chickadvisor for my honest opinion.

I was very excited to try this shampoo as I’d seen it in stores. The packaging is attractive and I love that it is from recycled plastic.

Upon opening the bottle though I couldn’t stand the smell! It is very overwhelming and not what I was expecting from a lavender scent shampoo. It has a very spicy woody smell that is very over powering.

I did give it a chance though. I found that yes it left my hair feeling clean but after drying my hair lacked shine and luster. As well the smell stayed with me for the whole day and I just couldn’t handle it. I won’t be purchasing this scent again but would love to try a different one after reading others reviews!

Ce produit rend mes cheveux qui sont habituellement gras et grichus après un lavage mais ce shampooing mousse beaucoup avec seulement une petite noisette et mes cheveux sont soyeux et il paraisse en santé.

Overscented

ARGAN OIL & LAVENDER SMOOTH AND SERENE SHAMPOO provides a wonderful lather. I love how this formula doesn't weigh my hair down at all though; it leaves my hair so bouncy and happy and soft. But one and huge minus is the scent. It’s so annoying for me that sometimes I have a headache.

treat your hair!

When you first open this shampoo it had a really nice odor that isn’t too strong.The texture is actually quite luxurious and you don’t need to use a ton to get a great lather. This shampoo even made my scalp feel tingly which I wasn’t expecting at first but have come to enjoy!
It rinses really cleanly with absolutely no residue left over.
This is a very nice shampoo that I would recommend to anyone!
