Great lather and scent

I was chosen by ChickAdvisor to try Love Beauty & Planet's Shea Butter and Sandalwood Purposeful Hydration shampoo #gotitfree!

This shampoo lathers very well which means that I do not have to use a lot of product. I have colour treated hair and didn't feel that it was as moisturizing as some of the other shampoos I have used in the past but the fact that it is a vegan product and doesn't contain any parabens or other harmful chemicals is very important and a huge positive for this brand!

It smells great and it lathers wonderfully, I don't feel I need to use a lot of product to get the job done, but it's typically more than I'd spend on a shampoo. This would be what I'd buy if I were looking for something different. It's a good product though and I would buy it again.

I really like the smell

I really like the longlasting scent this line has! Makes me wonder how the other scents are..Unfortunately my fiance isn't a fan of the shea butter smell but admitted my hair looks a bit better than usual LOL (I'll continue the thought in the conditioner review). As for a strictly shampoo POV, it does the job like regular shampoos. I would definitely consider buying again because of what the brand stands for - sustainability and loving the planet! Effective Results - Curly Hair Approved!

I had the opportunity to try Love Beauty & Planet Shea Butter & Sandalwood Purposeful Hydration Shampoo for free courtesy of ChickAdvisor. When I first received the product I was impressed by the packaging. The texture of the label makes the product seem very luxurious! I have very curly hair that tends to be on the drier side. I am not really picky about shampoo products that I use but I was not impressed with the experience of using this product. The scent is lovely and it has a nice, creamy texture, but it doesn't lather well. I like a good lathering shampoo! My hair also didn't feel particularly clean after having rinsed it out. I used the shampoo with Love Beauty & Planet Shea Butter & Sandalwood Purposeful Hydration Conditioner. While I didn't particular enjoy the experience of using this shampoo, I was impressed with the end result. Once my hair had dried it was soft and well hydrated without being weighed down - it had a nice bouncy curl. I will definitely consider purchasing this product in future as it seems to work well for dry, curly hair.

This product was good but not the best.

This wasn't my favorite product in the line because it actually dried my hair out quite a bit more than normal shampoo. BUT......I loved the smell of this shampoo, I love that they use recycled plastic for the bottle, and I love even more that I got it free from ChickAdvisor!!! #GOGREEN

hydrated hair

This shampoo smelt delicious- and it worked!!
It left my hair bouncy, and shiny after just a couple days of use (in tandem with the conditioner). A small amount went a long way for my medium length hair. It lathered up well which surprised me- sometimes when companies take out ingredients (like parabens) they don’t work nearly as good. Love that this is vegan!
The bottle was awkward and a little hard to get product out of. Worth the money, will be purchasing again.

Not that hydrating

I tried it once in conjunction with the matching conditioner and I did not like it. It made my hair coarse and dry. Usually I use Pantene shampoo and Lush conditioner which have worked fine in keeping my thick, straight hair soft and sleek. However, just one use of this new brand and I noticed it had made my hair less smooth. It's not horrible but I am definitely going to stick to my usual hair care regimen. I will say that the scent is nice though and lingers in my hair the day after.

Great Shampoo!

This shampoo was great! Very luxurious spa like scent, was not too overpowering and left me feeling relaxed. The shampoo did a great job cleaning my hair, left it looking beautiful silky and smooth.

Love this company, its important to my family to shop for ethical products, and this company does its job to keep our planet beautiful.

Only downfall to this product is the packaging, although its beautiful and made from recycled plastic it is large and bulky making it difficult to squeeze the product out. Adding a pump would help solve this problem.

Loved it!

I received this shampoo free for testing purposes. I love getting products that contain natural ingredients so was excited to try this new affordable brand. I love the scent, a mix of Shea butter with floral and almost fruity undertones. Not what I expected it to smell like but I love it. The shampoo is easy to lather and comes out really well. It left my hair with that squeaky clean feeling so I was confident there was no residue. It left my hair looking vibrant and smelling sweet afterwards. I’d definitely purchase.

Impressive!

I was really impressed with this shampoo and it's matching conditioner from the first use. The product itself is amazing. It smells great, and works so well. My hair has rarely looked so smooth and shiny without additional product. The only drawback is that I wish these were either pump bottles like the body wash, or that the bottles had a little more 'give' in them when you squeeze them. Other than that, I am thoroughly impressed.
