I asked for youth game and it’s for adult only

The group of age isn’t correct. The game is for adult only.

It’s a good game, funny if you know the Netflix serie. I had a good moment with my friend.

    Short lived fun

This was a fun game to play with our usual group of friends. I don't see us playing this more often though because I have game nights with the same group of people so I feel we'd get similar results all the time.
Perhaps I will dig it out again with larger, newer groups

    Interesting game!

I really liked the concept behind the Love is Blind game (and the fact that there even is a game). I don't watch a lot of reality TV, but Love is Blind is one of those that really pulled me in. I binged all of the first season in 2 days. I also recently watched the Love is Blind: After the Alter, so everything that happened in season 1 and and the specials that came after was fresh in my mind while playing the party game.

I found the instructions to be clear and easy to follow. Also the way the game flows I think is the closest they could have gotten it to what it may have been like for the people on the show (or as close to the experience as you can get by using a board and cards). Being able to flip the board was a neat idea and makes good use of the game board as well as saving on space in the box that everything comes in.

While actually launching into the game with friends, however, we found that some of the wording and language used, or even the ideology behind some of the questions didn't match our way of thinking as millennials (with an exceptions of maybe 15-20% of the cards). Since this game is ages 17 and up, it would have been better to make the language more current. A lot of the wording and ideas behind said wording seemed to be aimed more at Baby Boomers and Gen X, so a lot of the time we found ourselves pausing to analyze these ideologies which for us felt outdated. I don't know whether they just didn't have Millennials or Gen Z people on staff when writing what was on the cards, or if the idea was to appeal to as many generations as possible...but yes, we didn't click with a lot of the language and ideas.

For the physical aspects of the game itself, I found the box to be of high quality and liked the colours and style used on the exterior as well as on the game pieces. We also liked that the plastic rings weren't complete circles so that they could fit on thicker fingers as well. The game board, while ingenious for being flippable and so small (taking up very little space), I found could have been higher quality. It didn't lay completely flat, and some of the glossy paper that was glued onto the cardboard peeled off the one edge when it caught on something during the first game.

Overall, it was a fun game and it was interesting to see how well the couples in our friend group know one another! We just wish it had been a little more relatable for our generation.

I posted a video of the box and what it contains on my TikTok for those who are curious: https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMdKf7x5W/

    Love is Blind

I like the overall idea of the game but it was a bit complicated. I like how they included "wedding rings" and the kisses but quality wasn't great. I found the questions to be a bit vague and there were a few spelling errors in one of the cards and rule book. I also felt like the game dragged on a bit. Not my favorite boardgame.

    Really fun

This is actually really fun but don’t play with family lol. It’s a great social game and lots of laughs. You need at least 4 people but it’s much more fun with a large group of people.

    Hard to understand

Thanks for chosing us. I must say that i was unable to play the game following all the rules. Its a bit hard to understand. I had to read the instructions several times but it still turns out that we had fun. We love family/friends moment and im sure that the more next times we will play it will get easier. I wasnt the winner this time haha !!! Kids love the rings

    Good Party Game

I went into this board game with very little hope to actually enjoy the game play since I had never watched the tv show. Although this is a very cheesy game, this would be great for parties of 6 or more (even though the box said 4-10). We enjoyed the fact that the questions we gender-neutral but wish there were more polyamorist possibilities for even more laughter.

    Things we recommend changing:
-The board was kinda useless and the cardboard would be better served making dividers in the game box for proper storage
-Why do you assume everyone has children?
-Change the hearts to tokens or specify to only use pencils as it is impossible to remove a heart once it has been filled in with pen or marker
-The font on the cards was too thin and difficult to read on the dark & busy background

    Love is blind game

This game was ok. Drinks needed in order to have fun. Can be a little awkward to play if you are not close to them. Probably a better game for someone in their early 20’s not their 40’s

    Fun times!

I wasn't too sure about the game at first, but it quickly became entertaining! It's a fun game for an evening between friends, we had a blast and laughed a lot. It's a silly game. Overall fun, perhaps not the best quality game ever made, but not terrible either. I'm not sure everyone would enjoy it though!

    Great party game

This game is pretty fun! It’s a good game to play if you are having a party or if it’s a more intimate setting as well. I can’t wait for covid to be more so in the past so we can play this more with more people.
