My favorite flavor
I am a huge fan of larabar because they are healthy, vegan, and they are tasty! This is by far my favorite flavor as it taste very similar to actual apple pie and gives me energy for my day!
Nutritious & Delicious - Perfect for On-the-Go
I love these bars for the short list of clean ingredients, not to mention they taste amazing. The apple pie bar is one of my favorites.
It's perfect to keep in my purse or gym bag and it leaves me satisfied and full for quite a while.
I always keep one handy and would recommend them to everyone.
Apple Pie for Vegans
Best product thus far when looking to satisfy an apple pie craving. Gluten Free and Vegan, this bar is the slice. I have been eating these bars for years. All of the flavors are wonderful but this is by far my favorite.
The best granola bars.
Larabars are the to go granola bars for me, mainly because of how amazing these taste and the short list of ingredients.
Unlike some other energy bars with a huge list of additives, flavoring, etc. In their ingredients, Larabar's ingredients are all ones I am familiar with and ingredients that I would personally use when baking.
I would definitely recommend this product.
Magnifique barre d'énergie
J'adore les produits de LARABAR, plus particulièrement celle à la pomme. La texture est super, la goût est hallucinant. Et surtout, ce produit est bio, et fait sans produit transformé. La liste des ingredients des produits LARABAR ne dépassent pas 4 ou 5 ingredients.
Le seul hic: le prix. Mais lorsqu'elle sont en spécial, c'est le moment d'acheter en gros :)
Tasty and simple ingredients
These are tasty and just what they say they are in the packaging. Simple ingredients with no additives! I take these everywhere and my toddler loves them for snacks, too!
Perfect for energy without feeling like having chocolate
With working 2 jobs I always rely on protein/energy products to help fill the gap in my nutrition until I can have a sit down meal.
Most prepared protein products are vanilla or chocolate or some variation thereof. I like the Apple larabar as it changes things up a bit. I get the sweetness of the apple and the flavor is not artificial.
It's 4g of protein per bar and I like the fact that I know what all the ingredients are. Helps keep me going during job number 2 until I can get home to eat a proper meal.
Addicting
I first tried these bars a year ago and was instantly hooked! Since then it's become a regular snack item for me. Only 200 calories per bar and each bar contains at least one cup of fruit! They're also vegan, gluten free, dairy free, and soy free! Perfect for those looking for a healthy snack.
I recently had a chance to try 2 different Larabars; Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Apple Pie. I wanted to give them a shot as a morning meal replacement/snack food because I had seen several ads touting how healthy they are and how they only have a few ingredients. Here's my opinion.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
The Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough bar has 4 ingredients, dates, chocolate Chips, salt and cashews. I found the date flavour to be fairly obvious but it is a reasonable chocolate treat. Very filling, I couldn't finish it in one sitting, I did find the flavour became a bit overwhelming about halfway through. I found the bar a bit heavy, it definitely kept me from being hungry too soon after eating it.
Apple Pie
The Apple Pie flavour was too sweet for me. This bar contains apples, dates, cinnamon, walnuts, raisins and almonds. Again, I find the date flavour very prevalent (I suspect this is the case with most of these bars that use date as a primary ingredient). It may just be me, but I find dates, raisins and apples (even unsweetened) to be quite sweet on their own; together, I found this just too sweet and could only eat a couple of bites. I'd rather have an apple or some grapes on their own in this case (which would be healthier and even more natural).
Overall, I can see that these bars might be good for someone looking for a healthy snack alternative to your more traditional fruit/nut/granola bars. If you don't like dates, you are probably not going to like these. These are an especially good choice for someone following a vegetarian or vegan diet.
