Gentle and Moisturizing: Lubriderm Original Body

Good for skin, dries out the face

My husband was the one to try out this product as he's a 2-in-1 kind of guy, and while he's usually good with them this one really seemed to dry out his face. He said it left him with a tight feeling that he didn't get on his body. So he would use it for a body wash as he felt clean and fresh, but wouldn't recommend it as a face wash.

Lathers well, could use a better smell

I like that this body wash lathers well and leaves my skin feeling soft! I don’t love the smell - lightly scented, yes, but the smell isn’t anything I can even describe. It isn’t foul, but also isn’t pleasant. It just sorta exists and I could do without it personally.

Great body wash

I have been looking a good body wash that will provide moisture to my skin. When I tried it the first time, I found that it was exactly what I wanted. My skin is moist and I don’t feel itchy anymore.

Stripping on dryer skin

While it foamed nicely and worked well as a body wash, it was too stripping as a facial cleanser. A small amount went a long way for cleaning, but is better with a heavier moisturizing routine or more oily skin.

Lightly scented, lacking lather

I really like the scent of this product - it is indeed very light and fresh, not overpowering. However, the scent alone would not be enough for me to purchase. I felt like this product didn't lather at all and felt ineffective / or that I needed to use much more than my usual body wash. Perhaps it would be better suited as a face wash, which I wouldn't expect as much lather from. I'll give it more time.

A Decent Product, but Wouldn't be at the Top of my

I was a bit skeptical about this product initially, as Lubriderm products don't usually work overly well for me. This time I tried it first as a face wash, then as a body wash. It was gentle on my skin, which is a bonus, and the scent is nice and light. I like that it is scented a bit, as many Lubriderm products aren't. It was decent, but usually I buy more expensive face wash products with more direct benefits. As a body wash, it didn't lather well. I know lathering isn't always great for your skin, but it's something that I look forward to for that freshly clean feeling. The price is right, so I may buy in the future, but it's not at the top of my list.
