Wasted 5 hours in emergency yesterday after drinking lucerne
Wasted 5 hours in emergency room yesterday after drinking lucerne individual size plastic bottle chocolate milk. The milk had a plastic acetone taste to it and I got a weird shiny red burn on my finger and my balls shrank like a prune. I went to the emergency room scared. While at the hospital my finger where the burn was started to feel Charlie horsey. Drank 3 bottles of water to get the milk out of my system. Hospital couldnt do anything. Wasted my time. Left with my balls back to normal size at least.
First of all the bottles aren't tamper resistant. It has a foil cover that you cant tell whether its originally sealed or not. Whether it's for Safeway to avoid liability, or they have a bottling problem, someone tampered with it, or the bottle had lose plastic dust in it or, some heat storage issue pre-bottling its unacceptable. Put a tamper restiant twist top on it. Protect your consumers. Anyways I won't buy that again.
About the person who told black mold in your milk. That's really dangerous stuff. Read up about it can cause autoimmune disease of your digestive system and not curable.
In the past from the same safeway in financial district I bought sour tasting bolt carrot juice that the date was fine. Never buying that again there.
Also used to buy odwalla strawberry banana drinks for my health until I read that they had problems with buying old fruit and adding sugar when they say they dont.
Hope everybody got better from their food source problems.
Sours before the expiration date.
We buy this at our local shaw's store but almost every bottle turns before it's date. I just dumped over half of a gallon this morning that was dated 7/22. I enjoy the taste when its good, and for a long time this didn't happen so I thought it was a fluke but this has been happening now for about 4 months on a much too regular basis. I will still buy the creamer, and the almond milk is good but I like regular milk in most things and want to be able to rely on the dates. I have my refridgerator at 34 degrees so that is not the problem.
