I have a couple of these, they're not bad, but they do slip. There is a newer version of it now with a rubbery underside to prevent slippage.
I love use it when I go for long runs or work outs .
They keep all the sweat off of your face ,
but the only down side is that they slip off .
I usually have to keep on fixing it on my head .
But other wise I love it , its great .
I love Lululemon. I really do. But these headbands bug me. They never stay on my head, always slip off halfway through a workout, or even if I'm just wearing it around the house. Then I get stuck readjusting it halfway through my day, when there isn't always a mirror around, and sometimes the result was not so pretty.
To be fair -- I have an abnormally large head. Hats do not fit me, unless its a stretchy winter toque. So maybe it's my head that causes the problem, but I just don't like them. I guess you have to try it out to see for yourself.
It seems like it's a problem only I am facing, but the headband I purchased from Lululemon was too big for my head. It's so big that it just doesn't stay on my head - AT ALL!
I'm 5'5 with an average built so I'm not too sure if the headband I purchased was a defect in that it was bigger than it should have been, or if Lululemon's headbands are bigger than other makes.
I have to agree - there is definitely a lust factor for Lululemon clothing and accessories. but can anyone tell me why a pant costs over $100! Yes, I too fell for their branding and I bought myself not one..but TWO pants. I convinced myself that I needed it for gym and that they were going to motivate me to exercise. In the long run, it didn't have any affect on me! I bought something similar from Wal Mart which works just fine. I totally regret getting the pants, but I deifnitely understand why there's a demand for the products. Its all about healthy lifestyle and how a company can use that to brand their products. The headband is another wasteful material that shouldn't cost more than 5 dollars (I'm being generous). I'm not comparing to those from Walmart because I know where Lululemon and Walmart manufacture their materials, but I can't see a justification for Lululemon to be priced so high.
I really like these headbands :)
I bought three. They cost $7.50 each , and $7.00 if
you don't get the bag. The bag is actually really cute
and re-usable. It's not a cheap plastic bag or a paper
bag like other stores.
The headbands are pretty nice. They come in tons
of different colors - black , white , gray , blue , red ,
yellow... and even some patterns. The lululemon logo
in the centre is reflective , too. It doesn't really help ,
but it's nice to know.
Really cute. I give the Lululemon Luon Headband 4.5 stars.
I really don't like the colors these things come it. And I find they look a bit silly. When I buy lululemon gear I want to look good. I don't know about you other chicks.
Who care's about the luon controversy. These headbands are a bargain! You have to check the stores often for new colours - the good ones go quickly.
I love this headband! It is great for a quick and easy compact ponytail and it is also great for working out. It really does hold all those loose ends in place. Since it is made of luon it is quick dry and therefore when you are working out, it continues to dry, instead of staying sweaty. I would highly recommend this product - it has a variety of functions.
