These pants are AWESOME... I bought a few pairs and wear them while I'm working. (Yoga instructor). There's no way to try it on first though :(
I absolutely love my reverse groove Lululemon pants. They are light enough to work out in and move with you so you are not worried about your pants hanging too low when you are stretching into those Yoga and Pilates poses. I find that the fabric breathes well. I also like the fact that they are reversible so really although the pants cost a bit more than other yoga gear you are getting two pairs of pants, not just one. The flat seams mean there is no uncomfortable bunching of fabric (a must when working out). Lululemon stores also offer free hemming which I find awesome since I am shorter than standard pant lengths so this saves me from having to spend even more money on alterations to get a pair of good quality pants that fit me!
I have the Reverse Groove Pants. I think one of the best things about Lulu is that the clothing comes in all different sizes. Pants come in tall length, and they offer free hemming which comes with your purchase. Another thing is that you can put something in the wash, and you don't need to worry about it shrinking 10 sizes! The only thing I don't like about the pants is that the fabric pills easily. Otherwise, if you don't mind the occasional pill (from nails and sharp objects) then these pants are worth the investment.
I love lululemon pants! They are really expensive but worth it - once you buy them you won't stop wearing them! The only problem is washing them with the rest of your clothes because you can't use fabric softener or put them in the dryer with the fabric the pants are made of because they will lose their stretch. I love them though, and wear them everyday, you won't find more comfy pants anywhere.
I agree that these pants make your butt look super great!! Actually, I haven't seen anyone who's wearing Lulu's whose butt doesn't look good :P Although they are a little pricey, a lot of big brands' prices are comparable...and if you're able to score a reversible pair (Groove)--well, that kind of gets you your money's worth!! Don't forget that Lulu was the first to introduce that extra material in the middle so the pants don't cut your body in half (camel toe!!). A little something extra is that Lululemon was started and is based in Vancouver, Canada. Support our local designers!!
Although these pants are a bit pricey, they are awesome to wear just to lounge around in as well as to the gym. As a side note they make everyone's butt look great!
