Not as good as they used to be
I’ve bought Lululemon leggings (Align) for the past 12 years and though they are still made to sit in a super flattering way, they develop pilling very quickly and seem to wear out in months. Seems like the quality has gone down recently.
Disappointing
I own many pairs of Lululemon yoga pants. All of the pants I purchased before 2010ish are still going strong! All of the pants I have bought in the past half decade or so, however, have completely fallen apart at the seams, and are pilling like crazy. I cannot justify spending $100+ on a pair of pants, only for them to fall apart within a few wears. Terrible quality.
They don't last
I got on the LuLuLemon bandwagon a few years ago and bought a pair of yoga pants. I loved them at first because they had a nice fit and felt good. But they barely made it through a year before the legs started to stretch out in the wash (?) and they got misshapen and the fabric started to pill. I'd heard that the quality was better before they moved their manufacturing overseas. Really disappointing for the price. My $30 yoga pants from Superstore have lasted longer.
Lululemon USED to have the best yoga pants, i loved them and would't buy anything else!
Over the past few years i've found that their quality has gone way down, but their price has gone way up.
Sometimes you can still get a great pair of pants, but for the most part i find that they're see through and they get covered in nubs.
I really don't think they're worth the price.
I dont understand why these pants are so popular, maybe the quality has decreased recently but mine are prone to ripping! I've tried multiple sizes but they are not very strong! Definitely not worth the price!!! $100 is a lot!!
I paid $94.99 for a pair of Lululemon Yoga pants. I'm so thankful for the complimentary hemming as the shortest pair of pants was too long (i'm 5'3). Anyways I didn't really love these Yoga pants and found better quality with the brands itika and tuff. After just a few wears they had developed tons of balls and fuzz all over them, especially where the thighs meet.
I like lu lu lemon styles, but when I went to try on and possibly buy my first pair ever, they did NOT fit well. I'm a pretty normal size with quite normal proportions, and I couldn't find a comfortable fit. I would much rather pay half the price and get a good brand name like Nike, reebok, under armour, etc than buy lulu lemons. I don't understand the hype around it at all.
Lululemon used to be unreal. The pairs of clothing I bought ten years ago have actually out lasted items I purchased last year. It is such a shame. If they ever clean up their act, I will support them.
When I got my first pairs of lulus I was in love, and those pants have lasted years, after that its all been downhill. I've had a pair that didn't even last 4 months. they seem to be made more cheap now, and although I love the feel and love wearing them I cannot see me spending that much just to have them ruined so soon
