The Lumsing Kitchen Scale I purchased is black and has a tempered glass platform making it look sleek and fashionable. This makes it easy to clean with a soft tissue and glass cleaner. When you first turn it on you will notice the blue backlight which makes seeing the readings easier since then immediately are all in bold black.

The scale is simple and very easy to use. There's a power on button and another button to choose what unit you want to measure in. The choice is LG's, Fl oz, oz, g or ml. Make sure the reading is at 0 before placing what you want weighed on the scale. I weighed a cookie that we 50g and it came up once at exactly 50g but when I moved the scale it came up after as 52g. I can only assume that's because my floors are not level. But still pretty accurate.

Keep in mind you do have to remove the thermometer part beforehand the scale. The maximum weight of this scale is 5kg before tare. If the amount you are measuring is over that weight it will read EEEE. Another feature this scale has is if the batteries are low it will read "Lo" on the screen so then you know it's time to change them.

The removable thermometer depicts temperature, time , date & humidity and also an alarm clock. The set up is very easy as well. If you come across something you don't understand or can't figure out on your own the users manual is very informative and has all the information in regards to the scale as well as the thermometer. This is a great scale for someone that is in need of a kitchen scale that works well and won't break the bank.
