: Learning to Love My Hair: My Experience with LUS

After a long time, I am enjoying my thick curly hair and loving them as they are. I was unsure about purchasing hair products, but my neighbor recommended some Canadian products, and I decided to try them since they are local. My first attempt was not successful, as I didn't know how to use them properly. However, their excellent support team helped me, and I tried the products again. Although the second time was better, it still did not meet my expectations. I am still learning how to apply the products correctly, but the formula is fantastic. My hair is a little damaged, and I feel that I haven't given them the love and care they deserve. I will continue to use these products to improve my hair's health.

Embracing the waves - loving the product

These products ticked a lot of boxes for me. Of course, I gravitate to Canadian products, women owned businesses, and those products that are 'cleaner'. And who doesn't enjoy an online quiz? As my hormones have changed after pregnancies and menopause - so has my hair. So now I am learning to deal with really wavy 'curly' hair. I tried these products - Shampoo, Conditioner, and leave on curl treatment - in a small size first. But I also watched the videos to really learn how to work my curls. The shampoo works amazingly well - and with a very small amount. It has a nice mild fragrance, The conditioner, similar. The products are clean and FEEL clean. The leave in really helps define the curls (as long as I can keep from fiddling with my hair) but after a few days I do feel the product in the hair - so shampooing a bit more often now. But then before I didn't use ANY product for my waves, and it didn't look as good!

I will purchase again!

I purchased this originally for my daughter. She has very curly hair.
I have always had slightly wavy hair. More frizzy than wavy. This product from the first time I used it has changed my hair. My hair now falls in mostly uniform curls. It is soft and does not feel like there is product in it. A little goes a very long way with this line. I find that the shampoo, conditioner, and curl cream all require a very little amount and more in not better. The shampoo is going to give you a nice lather which immediately made me skeptical, but has proven to be gentle. The product does smell very nice. It is a light clean floral smell.

For best results I would follow the tips and tricks that they send you along with your product in a card form. There’s extra tips are really important and will give you your best curls.

I found my Holy Grail!
I get the perfect amount of smoothing and definition, and the scent is light and very nice - almost like baby powder. There's a bit of a learning curve but once you get it down, you'll be in love every single time!
One bottle of All-in-one lasts over 3 months so the initial cost is manageable over time

Buyer Beware

I wish I could say I had a good experience with this brand but unfortunately it didn't work for me and even worse is you don't get your money back if you open the bottle to try it. If you do decide not to try it before opening then you can pay to have it shipped back if they approve it to hopefully get money back. $70 this single mom of two won't see again 😔 so much for loving my curls

I absolutely love this product. My mother bought it for me as a gift and I haven't stopped having it since , it leaves my hair so soft and bas so little steps involved.

This product for my very curly hair I have tried many brands before but this I the best I have ever tried it’s a super easy product to use and a little goes a long way

Totally changed my hair!

LOVE, Love, love this product! It brought out my natural curl pattern and works great with my hair. The shampoo and conditioner is a little pricey but the styling cream is a home run.

Good but pricey

I debated forever before purchasing this product, it was pricey but they have amazing reviews

First off, the product smells ah-mazing! It’s not often I LOVE the scent of my hair products, but this one i love!

The routine is easy enough, however not a fan of rinsing the conditioner out with cool water - doesn’t really make my shower enjoyable.

The curl product post-shower has the same scent which is nice. You can air dry or diffuse your hair afterwards.

Maybe it’s because I have combination hair, but I find my curls hit or miss when it comes to them being defined. I feel like I have to use a lot of product to achieve the desired effect.

So I do recommend it but with the caveat that a lot of product is required, which in turn makes it quite pricey as it won’t last long.

Completely damaged and fried my hair

Saw this product on facebook. As all curly haired girls, I'm always on the hunt for the best products for my hair. I've never had an issue with dry hair, just need help with definition. I typically have to use 3 to 4 styling products. When I saw Lus brands systems I was curious enough to buy it. The first couple of times I used it, it was great, I couldn't believe it. But then my hair became damaged, dry and broken. I washed my hair once a week for 5 weeks, and havent used the products in 2 months and its still recovering.
