: Learning to Love My Hair: My Experience with LUS

After a long time, I am enjoying my thick curly hair and loving them as they are. I was unsure about purchasing hair products, but my neighbor recommended some Canadian products, and I decided to try them since they are local. My first attempt was not successful, as I didn't know how to use them properly. However, their excellent support team helped me, and I tried the products again. Although the second time was better, it still did not meet my expectations. I am still learning how to apply the products correctly, but the formula is fantastic. My hair is a little damaged, and I feel that I haven't given them the love and care they deserve. I will continue to use these products to improve my hair's health.

Embracing the waves - loving the product

These products ticked a lot of boxes for me. Of course, I gravitate to Canadian products, women owned businesses, and those products that are 'cleaner'. And who doesn't enjoy an online quiz? As my hormones have changed after pregnancies and menopause - so has my hair. So now I am learning to deal with really wavy 'curly' hair. I tried these products - Shampoo, Conditioner, and leave on curl treatment - in a small size first. But I also watched the videos to really learn how to work my curls. The shampoo works amazingly well - and with a very small amount. It has a nice mild fragrance, The conditioner, similar. The products are clean and FEEL clean. The leave in really helps define the curls (as long as I can keep from fiddling with my hair) but after a few days I do feel the product in the hair - so shampooing a bit more often now. But then before I didn't use ANY product for my waves, and it didn't look as good!

I purchased this originally for my daughter. She has very curly hair.
I have always had slightly wavy hair. More frizzy than wavy. This product from the first time I used it has changed my hair. My hair now falls in mostly uniform curls. It is soft and does not feel like there is product in it. A little goes a very long way with this line. I find that the shampoo, conditioner, and curl cream all require a very little amount and more in not better. The shampoo is going to give you a nice lather which immediately made me skeptical, but has proven to be gentle. The product does smell very nice. It is a light clean floral smell.

For best results I would follow the tips and tricks that they send you along with your product in a card form. There’s extra tips are really important and will give you your best curls.

I found my Holy Grail!
I get the perfect amount of smoothing and definition, and the scent is light and very nice - almost like baby powder. There's a bit of a learning curve but once you get it down, you'll be in love every single time!
One bottle of All-in-one lasts over 3 months so the initial cost is manageable over time

Totally changed my hair!

LOVE, Love, love this product! It brought out my natural curl pattern and works great with my hair. The shampoo and conditioner is a little pricey but the styling cream is a home run.

I’ve tried many products and nothing worked. I have curly hair and would blow dry and use a flat iron because I just couldn’t manage my curls.
I hesitate for months when I saw LUS, I read the reviews and thought I should try it. Now I wish I would have ordered it earlier. I absolutely love it! It defines each curl, doesn’t leave it sticky. The next day your hair still looks great. I will definitely recommend this to my friends and family.

Going on my 2nd bottle!

Tried the travel size initially as it was a good way to test it, shampoo and conditioner are good but I found my shampoo bar was better for my hair overall. The curl cream I bought a second bottle as it works for my hair. My hair is slightly wavy depending on how thick and long it is, but with this product I can keep volume and wave in my hair for a couple days between washing. Hands down my favourite product.

The best product I have ever used on my hair.

I can not say enough good things about the leave in treatment. My frizz halo is virtually non-existent now. I started with the Wavy product and tried the Curly type in my second order. Even tho my hair is more wavy than curly, the Curly works best for me.

I air dried exclusively with the Wavy experiment, and then began to diffuse with the Curly product. I found that air drying over night allowed my curls more fortitude for a longer time, so I've gone back to my overnighting ways.

At a board meeting a few months ago, someone asked if my hair was naturally curly because it looked so great lately. She said she'd been straightening her hair for ages and was getting tired of doing so. I wasn't the only one at the table who is a LUS fan, and within minutes we all regressed to being high school girls talking about their hair. She has since become a LUS convert and is experimenting with both the Wavy and Curly blends.

I can not imagine ever going back to my cupboard filled with countless products that are nearly full because I tried them a few times and then abandoned them. Thank you so much for LUS! I love my hair now!
